Ashleigh is confrontational and believes she can’t be led into thinking something or having her opinion swayed.
Ashleigh works part time in a boutique clothes shop in Derry. She is also signed to a modelling agency and does modelling work in her free time. Her dream job would be to become a well-known model, ‘but I know the chances of that are slim’. She would also love to set up her own events management and wedding planning business.
Ashleigh has always lived in the same area, and currently resides on a council estate, which is one of the factors she says gives her the drive to push further in her career. She spends her money on clothes, shoes and her dog Gucci. She is a vegetarian and is a big fundraiser for a re-homing centre for cats and dogs due to her love of animals.
Ashleigh would rather have love than money because ‘you always see celebrities who have enough money to feed the world and they’re unhappy’. Her worst trait is that she talks about herself too much – her mum and boyfriend are always telling her off about it. She also says she sometimes forces her opinions on others. She is pro-abortion and has strong views which are generally not accepted among her community.
A typical weekend would be seeing her boyfriend or a friend on Friday night, shopping on Saturday and clubbing in the evening, then lazing around on Sunday. She is fortunate enough to ‘not really suffer from hangovers’.
As a housemate, Ashleigh thinks she’ll be ‘young and bubbly’, but people sometimes refer to her as ‘airy fairy’ which she thinks could annoy older people in the house. If there were any arguments in the house, she would ‘always be on the side of the underdog’.
Ashleigh wouldn’t get on with lazy people, unhygienic people and those who don’t clean up after themselves. She also wouldn’t like bullies or people who would make her time in the house hard.
Ashleigh says if she won Big Brother she would donate some of her winnings to charity, buy a nice car and take her family on holiday somewhere sunny.

I thought ashleigh was a pure two faced bitch in the first 5 weeks and then she changed and you can see she is a genuine person and a kind girl ashleigh is my favourite now since Kimberlys sad departure and ashleigh is in power now which is brilliant she can’t go this week !!!

Cannot believe Ashleigh is up for eviction and ash isn’t any more wtf!! Then there is Helen having a go at her it’s a fucking task you would have done the same and then there is mark blaming chris and Ashleigh for putting ash up in the beginning. Looks like someone is stuck up a few peoples arses!!!!

Felt very sorry for Ashleigh in last night’s show. I had a lump in my throat when she was saying that Winston was the only one who stuck up for her when Helen and Kim came at her. Why should she have to justify her nominations just because she put Helen’s lap dogs up. Anyone notice how Ash put up absolutely no fight when Ashliegh offered to take his place for nomination. The man’s certainly no gentleman and very cowardly in my opinion.

It’s best to ignore the haters.
The fact Helen fans call Ashleigh evil or nasty yet Helen was the one who hid the alcohol from Jale after Jale asked for some wine. Then they laughed after Jale didn’t get any wine. How nasty and spiteful is that. Whether Helen likes or dislikes Jale she still shouldn’t have done that.
Yet Ashleigh is called evil or nasty by Helen fans. The alcohol was for ALL the housemates and not just for Helen and her gang.
Like the time Jale was sitting down eating I think an apple and minding her own business, then Helen starts when Jale did nothing wrong.
Like the time Helen called Christopher boring knowing he would be upset and he didn’t do anything wrong.
Like the time Helen didn’t give Matthew any space when she started an argument with him in the BB garden and Helen got told off by BB.
Like the time Helen gave Ashleigh a hug and said something about turning over a new leaf, but then Helen nominated her and talked about Ashleigh behind her back.
Then Helen said to Ashleigh about they are meant to be happy families lol is that what you call happy families? XD
Helen fans need to open their eye and see who they are supporting. lol

Helen has made most of the HMs time in the BB house unbearable, She has also made it unbearable for the viewers, she’s a nasty vile person yet BB have favoured her all way so unfair. I bet on final night they will have rent a crowd cheering for her, most HMs who were evicted were shown topless picture of Danielle yet no newspaper clippings of Helen which I’m sure are plenty, get a grip BB the show one big fix since it moved to C5, they done same thing last year and favoured Gina. Will the producers of Big Brother play the clips of Helen saying those things back to the house to prove that she really did say them?
No of course they won’t.
Please everyone go to Channel 5 and Ofcom to complain. That is the only way we will get any answer from the producers as to why there has been so much protection and favouritism towards Helen Wood.
I would also urge you all to Email all the national newspapers to see if we can get one of them to do an investigative piece to see if they can get to the bottom of exactly what is going on.
I’ve been to all of their “contact-us” pages and sent in an Email suggesting they do the story. If we all do it one of them might just run with it.
