Ashleigh is confrontational and believes she can’t be led into thinking something or having her opinion swayed.
Ashleigh works part time in a boutique clothes shop in Derry. She is also signed to a modelling agency and does modelling work in her free time. Her dream job would be to become a well-known model, ‘but I know the chances of that are slim’. She would also love to set up her own events management and wedding planning business.
Ashleigh has always lived in the same area, and currently resides on a council estate, which is one of the factors she says gives her the drive to push further in her career. She spends her money on clothes, shoes and her dog Gucci. She is a vegetarian and is a big fundraiser for a re-homing centre for cats and dogs due to her love of animals.
Ashleigh would rather have love than money because ‘you always see celebrities who have enough money to feed the world and they’re unhappy’. Her worst trait is that she talks about herself too much – her mum and boyfriend are always telling her off about it. She also says she sometimes forces her opinions on others. She is pro-abortion and has strong views which are generally not accepted among her community.
A typical weekend would be seeing her boyfriend or a friend on Friday night, shopping on Saturday and clubbing in the evening, then lazing around on Sunday. She is fortunate enough to ‘not really suffer from hangovers’.
As a housemate, Ashleigh thinks she’ll be ‘young and bubbly’, but people sometimes refer to her as ‘airy fairy’ which she thinks could annoy older people in the house. If there were any arguments in the house, she would ‘always be on the side of the underdog’.
Ashleigh wouldn’t get on with lazy people, unhygienic people and those who don’t clean up after themselves. She also wouldn’t like bullies or people who would make her time in the house hard.
Ashleigh says if she won Big Brother she would donate some of her winnings to charity, buy a nice car and take her family on holiday somewhere sunny.

Love Ashleigh, hope she wins, if you go back to where it all began with her and Helen you’ll find they were fine until Helen started on Jale, that was the first time Ashleigh said anything about Helen, Ashleigh thought her treatment of Jale was vile and then called Helen a bitch, yes behind her back, many others did the same at the time and the public were outraged and on Team Jale along with Ashleigh!! And I agree that she is now only begin civil because she has to live with her, she’d put Helen up tomorrow if she could 😀

I agree Misty. It annoys me that some of them think they shouldn’t be nominated because they get along better now. They have to get along or it would still be unbearable for those who disagree with anything Helen says. It doesn’t mean they wouldn’t nominate her – they all have to nominate someone after all!
I like Ashleigh and am glad she (along with Christopher and Chris) has survived this long to provide Helen with the knowledge that ‘the other side’ is liked. I think that’s why Helen commented on her cheers too – a hit home I feel.

Free speech is basis of our nation and of course people have the right to say who they want to win.
I find people like you fascinating as your opinions vary from mine in a way Danielle would have described as ‘bi-polar’ – when I think she actually meant polar opposites –
But I disagree that Ashleigh is borin – she is not even boring, like her or loathe her she is working out how to survive which is the WHOLE point of BB.
And she does this with far less venom than many others.

Ashleigh is everything that Helen wishes she could be which is smart,beautiful,eloquent and strong,Helen is extremely jealous of all Ashleigh has going for her which was evident when she didn’t let Mark invite her to the party after the task,the green eyed monster reared its ugly head when she realised everyone liked Ashleigh’s singing voice,she had to stop her from gaining more popularity in house

100% agree with Davina comments, Ashleigh is a very intelligent young lady, something Helens not or never will be! All the Ashleigh haters that say she sly or backstabber grow up I’m sure most of the HMs have back stabbed each other the only difference being BB broadcast Ashleigh doing it while the rest are protected, Helen and her sheep have all done it,after all they are all locked in a house together and when someone pisses them off then they going to talk about it,

They knew, even if nominated, Ashleigh was going nowhere this week. So they saw their opportunity to save Ash.
The producers are sooooo clever (or at least they think they are).
They knew Ashleigh would be voted immune which meant her potential vote for Ash (Helen’s lackey) would not be valid.
The best way the producers could think of to keep Ash in the house for another week.

@john JOHN! In response to your comment you made on 26/07/2014 about Ashleigh. Your comments are very nasty, what is your problem regarding this young woman. It is clear to see that you are a great fan of Hel-lon earth, you have an obvious dislike for Ashleigh but there is no need to be so nasty,just look where it has got HELL- ON EARTH.
