Ashleigh is confrontational and believes she can’t be led into thinking something or having her opinion swayed.
Ashleigh works part time in a boutique clothes shop in Derry. She is also signed to a modelling agency and does modelling work in her free time. Her dream job would be to become a well-known model, ‘but I know the chances of that are slim’. She would also love to set up her own events management and wedding planning business.
Ashleigh has always lived in the same area, and currently resides on a council estate, which is one of the factors she says gives her the drive to push further in her career. She spends her money on clothes, shoes and her dog Gucci. She is a vegetarian and is a big fundraiser for a re-homing centre for cats and dogs due to her love of animals.
Ashleigh would rather have love than money because ‘you always see celebrities who have enough money to feed the world and they’re unhappy’. Her worst trait is that she talks about herself too much – her mum and boyfriend are always telling her off about it. She also says she sometimes forces her opinions on others. She is pro-abortion and has strong views which are generally not accepted among her community.
A typical weekend would be seeing her boyfriend or a friend on Friday night, shopping on Saturday and clubbing in the evening, then lazing around on Sunday. She is fortunate enough to ‘not really suffer from hangovers’.
As a housemate, Ashleigh thinks she’ll be ‘young and bubbly’, but people sometimes refer to her as ‘airy fairy’ which she thinks could annoy older people in the house. If there were any arguments in the house, she would ‘always be on the side of the underdog’.
Ashleigh wouldn’t get on with lazy people, unhygienic people and those who don’t clean up after themselves. She also wouldn’t like bullies or people who would make her time in the house hard.
Ashleigh says if she won Big Brother she would donate some of her winnings to charity, buy a nice car and take her family on holiday somewhere sunny.

When she was watching the playback she made a sour face again seeing what she was like. I dont think Emma had enough time to show her how many times she cursed and was miserable.. Would take another week of programs to show Ashleigh being grumpy. When they played back happy times in the house to the remaining housemates nowhere was ashleigh in them.. Because she didnt participate in anything the whole time unless she was forced to by a task. And then BB made sure she didnt have to do anything like poor helen did

I don’t mind who would of won just as long as it wouldn’t be Helen because I don’t like how she treated the others. Hows that me a sore loser?

Has I’ve said my reason for why Helen shouldn’t have won because of her treatment to some of the housemates! It goes against what I believe!
I’m not digging at her I’m making a comment about how she treated other badly. I’m I meant to find it entertaining?

Also reading some of yours and the other Helen fans comments about Ashleigh I can understand why you’re all a Helen fan! I’ve not once name called Helen as I don’t need to as I won’t lower myself to Helen’s level.

lol they even had been jealous over me, that i had a job, i could watch bbuk, nl, usa, au, ca. and that i have a wife and son and daughter lol. Pathetic just like on ashleigh their comments were. But i don’t give a damn. Am happy their money goes to Helen, who deserved the winning of this season. YAY

I was lucky to not know anything about helens past so i cannot use that against her.. I based my vote on who was the best BB contestant with the tasks and everything you need to be the best one in the house.. I think Ash deserved to be in second place just for being an all round fun and nice guy..

Well done Ashleigh you are an amazing young woman who will create an amazing life and career for yourself. You were gracious in your defeat and outstanding in your demeanour, you were misunderstood by some who don’t recognise that some people need space and reflection time. The editors and producers fixed it for Helen to win in the last couple of weeks by putting her in the share room to create the story of her as the tart with a heart and you as the bitch so take heart you are the moral winner. Well done

There is something suspicious about this result the public would never choose this winner. Ashleigh was the winner with the public Helen was the winner with the producers
Sally i agree if you look at the polls on this page helen has been trailing along way behind all of them and been booed badly every time. When all the others were in single figures ashleigh was at 30 percent. helen did pull a master stroke though by making friends just two days from final and that possibly did it for her would be interesting to see the daily figures. If u ask me just another manipulative action by helen. And bb have rather steered the whole thing, they manipulated pauline into giving helen the pass . I do think that bb is going a bit wrong though they breaking their own rules all the time by allowing outside contact every five mins. Lets get back to the original spirit of the show and just have normal every day people in there instead of celebs and prostitutes. This year we had four from the sex industry in there now come on…..

helen deserved to win – why are people grumbling about it – emma willis already said only 2% difference in number of votes for helen and ashleigh so it was close
