Ashleigh is confrontational and believes she can’t be led into thinking something or having her opinion swayed.
Ashleigh works part time in a boutique clothes shop in Derry. She is also signed to a modelling agency and does modelling work in her free time. Her dream job would be to become a well-known model, ‘but I know the chances of that are slim’. She would also love to set up her own events management and wedding planning business.
Ashleigh has always lived in the same area, and currently resides on a council estate, which is one of the factors she says gives her the drive to push further in her career. She spends her money on clothes, shoes and her dog Gucci. She is a vegetarian and is a big fundraiser for a re-homing centre for cats and dogs due to her love of animals.
Ashleigh would rather have love than money because ‘you always see celebrities who have enough money to feed the world and they’re unhappy’. Her worst trait is that she talks about herself too much – her mum and boyfriend are always telling her off about it. She also says she sometimes forces her opinions on others. She is pro-abortion and has strong views which are generally not accepted among her community.
A typical weekend would be seeing her boyfriend or a friend on Friday night, shopping on Saturday and clubbing in the evening, then lazing around on Sunday. She is fortunate enough to ‘not really suffer from hangovers’.
As a housemate, Ashleigh thinks she’ll be ‘young and bubbly’, but people sometimes refer to her as ‘airy fairy’ which she thinks could annoy older people in the house. If there were any arguments in the house, she would ‘always be on the side of the underdog’.
Ashleigh wouldn’t get on with lazy people, unhygienic people and those who don’t clean up after themselves. She also wouldn’t like bullies or people who would make her time in the house hard.
Ashleigh says if she won Big Brother she would donate some of her winnings to charity, buy a nice car and take her family on holiday somewhere sunny.
People on BOTS seemed to think with her being 18 she will be naive, and it may be true, but I can’t see it. I think she’s astute.
😉 I imagine she’ll be the first to break down sobbing. She probably wont be nominated because she’s “the baby of the house”.
I think she’ll get on really well in there… I thought she seemed so genuine and kind

Big brother is about liking the ruthless, slightly evil and manipulating housemates, Ashleigh’s kind but just not my favorite.
How refreshing to see a young girl who shows a bit of decorum and class instead of passing out drunk like some of the other women. :up:
Gorgeous girl, seems a bit lost in all the madness but comes across as genuine & not a show off like most of the others, a slow burner but look who won it last year :heart:

I agree with you there birchee, to me she is a bit of a bland character, I get the impression that she may just be too nice and therefore will find it incredibly difficult standing out and is more of a blending in kind of person. Who would you like to be evicted tonight? :happy:
Like a little lost lamb in amongst all those big characters! To afraid to voice her opinion which is a shame as I think she is basically a good person.

She sucked up to pauline (check the video on BB website called ‘Pure praise for perfect Pauline’ from day 11) when she has never even been that close with Pauline?
Also, she has turned against Jale now and is severely sucking up to Toya and is losing the ability to form her own judgement and theories; she now believes everything Toya says. This has been shown on various episodes but look at the video on BB website called (Kimberly – “I can’t trust her, I just can’t) from day 12. She really believes the bs about Jale purposely trying to make hereelf look like a victim? Hah. Ashleigh is just a sheep and her heas is stuck right up Toya’s arse.
Coming across as very two faced and bitchy now. One minute she friends with Kimberly, the next she’s slagging her off to Toya. She needs to get her head out of Toya’s arse and get a personality for herself because so far, she has been absolutely dull.

No, she nominated Ash before the big argument. She hasn’t contributed much so far, because it’s hard to be heard above all the obnoxious, loud mouthed drama queens but the more she comes out of her shell the more I like her :up:

Poor Ashleigh, 18 years old, sweet girl from Ireland, gets the opportunity of a lifetime to go in BB house, probably thinks she’ll have the time of her life, then gets thrown in with some of the vainest, shallowest, stupidest, big headed, unhinged tossers on Gods Earth & manages to hold it together & maintain her dignity. She absolutely hates Helen, says she’d enjoy it more if both Helen & Ash were out of the house. Now what fair minded, rational viewer could disagree with those sentiments??? She does talk behind peoples back but her targets & views are usually spot on. She’s just a down to earth girl whose BB experience is being ruined by the bullies behaviour. Hope for Ashleigh’s sake Ash goes on Friday, Helen will lose her main ally & will shit herself!!! :heart:

Ashleigh has been one of the least trouble makers in the house. Hence why she’s been involved in virtually no incidents.
The main culprits this year have been…in 1st place Helen with Toya and Pauline tied for 2nd and a supporting cast of Ash and to a lesser extent Marlon.
