Ashleigh is confrontational and believes she can’t be led into thinking something or having her opinion swayed.
Ashleigh works part time in a boutique clothes shop in Derry. She is also signed to a modelling agency and does modelling work in her free time. Her dream job would be to become a well-known model, ‘but I know the chances of that are slim’. She would also love to set up her own events management and wedding planning business.
Ashleigh has always lived in the same area, and currently resides on a council estate, which is one of the factors she says gives her the drive to push further in her career. She spends her money on clothes, shoes and her dog Gucci. She is a vegetarian and is a big fundraiser for a re-homing centre for cats and dogs due to her love of animals.
Ashleigh would rather have love than money because ‘you always see celebrities who have enough money to feed the world and they’re unhappy’. Her worst trait is that she talks about herself too much – her mum and boyfriend are always telling her off about it. She also says she sometimes forces her opinions on others. She is pro-abortion and has strong views which are generally not accepted among her community.
A typical weekend would be seeing her boyfriend or a friend on Friday night, shopping on Saturday and clubbing in the evening, then lazing around on Sunday. She is fortunate enough to ‘not really suffer from hangovers’.
As a housemate, Ashleigh thinks she’ll be ‘young and bubbly’, but people sometimes refer to her as ‘airy fairy’ which she thinks could annoy older people in the house. If there were any arguments in the house, she would ‘always be on the side of the underdog’.
Ashleigh wouldn’t get on with lazy people, unhygienic people and those who don’t clean up after themselves. She also wouldn’t like bullies or people who would make her time in the house hard.
Ashleigh says if she won Big Brother she would donate some of her winnings to charity, buy a nice car and take her family on holiday somewhere sunny.

Despite getting on well during the Task on Saturday, Helen thought Ashleigh has been nasty and spiteful.

Ashleigh is a very smart girl and it wasn’t nice seeing her angry with helen but this week i have seen her put her difference aside which to was surprising and now you have seen this week the group is more together because one of the reasons of them coming together and the introduction of the three new housemates.

I fear the newbies will evict her tonight to please the ‘cool gang’ I really hope not cos after that theres not gonna be many decent housemates left.
Remember Ashleigh is ” competition” to the newbies. Ashleigh has a big fan club and also has the potential to win, if not being in the “final five”!!!
The newbies know this for sure, they are being tactical – I would like Ashleigh to win – She has more standards and class than the “so called” adults in there!!!
i feel that ashleeigh can be in the top 5 into the final because she is well potential and she stuck up to helen when she saw what helen saw in the dinning room and she is a great housemate she should win this

i dont like Ashleigh although since making friends with Helen she has had more fun just wish she hadn’t been so stuck up and bitchy most of the time she far to old for her age she should be having fun but all she does is moan and criticise others

I hope that the public voted Ashleigh to have the power because the genuinely believe she will use it wisely ( which I think she will) – she has shown on many occasions far more maturity and decent behaviour than many of the other Hms’ And in the absence of Danielle who tended to ensure that they were isolated – she has really been fun, asking Chris to be her loo monitor was really sweet!
So I hope that the public giving her the power does not mean that she will be the next evictee, lets hope that BB give her ‘good’ power tasks and not some contrived event to make her look bad.
Anyone who has had the power in the past has come a cropper, usually by BB dropping them in the shit, so it’s a double edged sword.
I just hope to god they can take Cruella’s pass away, that’s what most people want.
If not get Ash out, those two in bed together is making me queasy.
Ashleigh, quite rightly, still has a deep rooted hatred of Helen, so anything where she has to suffer & get a taste of her own medicine is fine by me.

Ashleigh was class tonight. I really like the way she’s developed as the series has gone. By far and a way the best housemate this year.
She won’t win, young girls are the primary voters and they’ll all go for Mark, he’s more their speed, but Ashleigh deserves it more.

I’m not sure why lots of people think she should win it but I guess we are all different. I just don’t see that much in her myself.
