Ashleigh is confrontational and believes she can’t be led into thinking something or having her opinion swayed.

Ashleigh works part time in a boutique clothes shop in Derry. She is also signed to a modelling agency and does modelling work in her free time. Her dream job would be to become a well-known model, ‘but I know the chances of that are slim’. She would also love to set up her own events management and wedding planning business.

Ashleigh has always lived in the same area, and currently resides on a council estate, which is one of the factors she says gives her the drive to push further in her career. She spends her money on clothes, shoes and her dog Gucci. She is a vegetarian and is a big fundraiser for a re-homing centre for cats and dogs due to her love of animals.

Ashleigh would rather have love than money because ‘you always see celebrities who have enough money to feed the world and they’re unhappy’. Her worst trait is that she talks about herself too much – her mum and boyfriend are always telling her off about it. She also says she sometimes forces her opinions on others. She is pro-abortion and has strong views which are generally not accepted among her community.

A typical weekend would be seeing her boyfriend or a friend on Friday night, shopping on Saturday and clubbing in the evening, then lazing around on Sunday. She is fortunate enough to ‘not really suffer from hangovers’.

As a housemate, Ashleigh thinks she’ll be ‘young and bubbly’, but people sometimes refer to her as ‘airy fairy’ which she thinks could annoy older people in the house. If there were any arguments in the house, she would ‘always be on the side of the underdog’.

Ashleigh wouldn’t get on with lazy people, unhygienic people and those who don’t clean up after themselves. She also wouldn’t like bullies or people who would make her time in the house hard.

Ashleigh says if she won Big Brother she would donate some of her winnings to charity, buy a nice car and take her family on holiday somewhere sunny.

Why the hell have you done that then, you clearly want a house which is full of bullies :envy:  😥

She outsmarted Helen brilliantly last week (it’s a game show lets not forget) & Helen can’t handle an 18 year old making her look like a mug haha. 😥

She turned on her by basically out shouting her like she does to everyone else but this time Ashleigh has come out smelling of roses & most people sympathise with Ashleigh now.

I think Helen could have unwittingly saved Ashleigh this week ha 😀 😀 😀

The argument that they showed on last nights Big Brother was heavily edited.

The original video that was posted on Youtube (then removed after a minute or so, and edited down by 70 seconds) showed Helen being much more abusive and also mocking Ashleigh about her Irish accent.

Why do the producers not want us to see the way Helen really acts?

It was also very clever timing to rush out the “Marlon screwed everyone over” storyline at almost the exact same time to distract everyone from what they were doing with Helen.

I think the live action should be put back like years ago- whilst there was a slight delay for bleeping out stuff, it gave a much better feel for house dynamics, rather than purely the edited version we get now.

I want live streaming back, purely because I remember watching bb2 and I caught a glimpse of one of the chicks bush!

@Ian I totally agree. The live streaming really gave you the chance to see the housemates real personalities.

The way the show is edited now, the producers can basically manipulate the clips to turn the housemates into whatever character they want.

Oh my lord Bob and Wally agree!!! that’s great, has restored my faith in human nature, maybe that means tonight Helen and Ashleigh make up and the house has some fun !! (scratch that I don’t see that happening let me rephrase it) Perhaps we will see Helen showing some redemption ( still doubt it somehow) and Ashleigh having some fun ( without dour Danielle) that option seems the most viable.

Although Ashleigh has bitched. She’s 18. And to be fair she’s said what I was thinking. Maybe she could’ve been more diplomatic…. But it’s right. For someone so young I think she has it Sussed. I like her. If the right people went home she would be more of a laugh.

P.S this is a game. Winner takes all. Remember that . The people picked for big brother aren’t in it to make friends. They are in to win.

Absolutely, live feed makes a massive difference. Some of the YouTube clips show housemates having a laugh, so we know it actually happens, and yet we later find it’s been cut entirely from the highlights in favour of some other dross. Other times you can see housemates in the background of clips having fun and messing about, yet they don’t upload those clips. C5’s idea of humour appears to be stupid gunge tasks, which are boring.

It seems with Channel 5 they have their set storylines (which usually revolve around conflict and showmances) and predetermined ‘characters’ they’ve set for the housemates and that’s all they stick to. If they don’t get these set storylines, then they try and force it.

At least with live feed we weren’t at the mercy of the editors, who quite frankly do a rubbish job on C5 compared to earlier series of Big Brother and Big Brother Australia. I was watching BB9 earlier and it’s really noticeable. The difference is like chalk and cheese.

Nope, I would like miserable Ashleigh evicted, afterall she’s the one who kept saying she wanted to leave. I also don’t like the idea of people evicting housemates who have done nothing wrong (Jale), just because they don’t like Helen.

Keeping Ashleigh in is just going to result in more moaning, bitching and arguing, which is already beyond boring. Although, I’m sure the producers of the show would love Ashleigh to stay so they can continue irresponsibly inciting Helen and Ashleigh into conflict. Afterall it’s the only thing they know how to do, they’re not creative enough to think of any decent show ideas.

I was just taking the P with the 500 votes, I didn’t think anyone would actually take it serious, lol, that’s £250. I’m on the brink of skipping the rest of this series as it is (it really is that dull, depressing & dire), so there’s not a chance of me spending a single penny voting this series.

    Here’s another one: 😀

If you want some fun, send it to someone saying you found a voice-activated backdoor in the app. Tell them to tap the centre of their screen 3 times in quick succession, then immediately afterwards shout “I like cops” without their lips touching and it should take them into engineer mode where they’ll be able to allocate themselves 9999 free votes.

I love the way that the girl (Playboy nude model with the wish list) who came into the house with a boyfriend but ended up getting frigged and F*&%$ on camera, on national TV, is sat pontificating about other people’s behaviour…with a former prostitute who has acted like rancid garbage non-stop for the last five weeks (some would say four years).

Ashleigh will go because the average vote is from a teenage girl who doesnt really watch the show but just gets jealous and angry easily. Look at the stark difference seen via the pop polls on this site. Teen girls will throw money at votes more than us more mature long time viewers.

I really don’t understand the public. They seem to not like Helen but every time someone went against Helen and her crew or tried to give a voice to the outsiders in the house like Lil Chris and Christopher they ended up being voted off. If your against Helen how could you vote Toya and Matthew off, they were amongst the few realist in this house and as soon as Asheligh starts taking control the public hate her too. Your either for or against Helen’s group so don’t be silly and vote off Asheligh if you dislike Helen’s group. I feel like the British public is promoting bullying and the idea people shouldn’t stick up for themselves cause every time someone is honest and sticks up for themselves or others they are evicted. What did Matthew actually do wrong or Toya except try and make things far and show the public what was really going on.

As I just mentioned in a previous post, I think Ash was saved by apathy, most thought he was gone so didn’t bother to vote which is why Matthew went.
As for Toya, I just think she was a nasty piece of work and people saw how she ranted at people. I never warmed to her in anyway.

@Bob Yeah, as much as I detest Helen I found Toya even harder to watch.

I honestly don’t know if I could have stuck another week or two of Toya’s talking AT everyone. “Let me tell you somethin’…”
