Gary Busey is an American actor best known for his roles in Point Break and The Buddy Holly Story, and his reputation for bizarre behaviour.
After growing up in Oklahoma, he attended Kansas State University on a football scholarship, but his dreams of pursuing a career in professional sports were shattered after injuring his knee. He then moved to Hollywood to pursue a music career, but acting beckoned.
After securing several small roles in both film and television during the 1970s, he made his film debut in Angels Hard As They Come in 1971. Following this he starred as the lead in The Buddy Holly Story, which led to him winning an Academy Award nomination.
Later in Gary’s acting career, he took on more sinister roles in the action thrillers Lethal Weapon (1987), Predator 2 (1990), and of course Point Break (1991), with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. He also played a cameo role as himself in the comedy Entourage.
Gary had a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 1989 after he rode without a helmet. This resulted in the enactment of stricter helmet laws in the State of California.
The accident split his skull open and he was taken to hospital for immediate surgery. Gary claims that his brain got altered – it was a wake-up call to get his life in order and to appreciate it. He recovered two and a half months earlier than predicted, and says his faith was the reason.
Gary has three children – son Jake with his first wife Judy, daughter Alectra with Tracy Hutchinson and son Luke with his wife Steffanie Sampson. He has black belts in budo-jujitsu, capoeira, hapkido, and kendo.

Big Brother classic moment of the series was Gary getting out of the shower when James and Audley were talking. I agree a classic moment that will make me giggle every time. What a man, what an actor and what a worthy WINNER.

Gary has nearly half the votes in the poll to win on here and he has been easily the most popular in all the polls ally in the on here. So many people can`t be wrong (take note James !) If that is a true reflection on his popularity then only Gary is in the running. He deserves to win for all the crap he`s had to put up with and should give the others with the exception of Audley, the fingers as they go out the door.

Yes, ovcourse Gary should win. But I never trust the polls, or the betting odds, I just hope that folk are not complacent and keep on voting for Gary.

I truly hope that Gary and his friends and family don’t tar all us Brits with the same brush as this house of nasty, unknown, disrespectful, abhorrent bullies. If I could jump in that tv and give him a big hug and tell him how much the British public are behind him I would do it. Its been heartbreaking watching the lot of them except Audley, Frenchy, and Lauren (at a push) tear that poor guy to shreds like a pack of hyenas. I cannot believe BB havnt intervened but maybey that’s the genius…they let the public watch how evil they all are and hand them enough rope. Not acceptable at Gary’s expence but at least we have all seen the bunch of animals for what they are. Thank god for true gents like Audley who still refuses to give in to the idiots and have Gary’s back. A million kisses

With the type of people Gary has to share the house with (excluding Audley) I would think the company of flies is preferable. Give me a bluebottle over Mutley,James,George or Edele any day.

Gary Busey has a court case waiting for him in the States when he physically pushed a woman out of the way, who was waiting in line for the same plane, to barge his way though to the top of the line at an airport to catch the plane. She sustained multiple injuries to her head and upper body. She and others who where there described the incident as a football like tackle where he thrust his shoulder into her and knocked her down. He is now claiming that he is bankrupt and does not have asserts over $50,000 so he doesn’t have to pay compensation her for the injuries she sustained.
Let’s not forget the domestic violence he perpetrated and subjected 2 of his wives to, the mothers of his children.

I usually don’t make any comments on this kind of thing but I read through the other comments and just couldn’t hold back.
Has anyone seen the clip of what this despicable person did to the beautiful Laura Linney and Jennifer Garner when these two ladies were being interviewed at an awards ceremony.
He came out of nowhere when the ladies were being interviewed and pushed them both very forcefully out of the way, hijacked the interview making random idiotic noises and statements that had nothing to do with anything. He then grabbed jennifer garner and forced himself on her trying to kiss her. The interviewer and both of these very lovely and talented ladies looked shocked and disgusted at what this idiot had done.
It was deplorable behaviour from a man towards a woman. I just felt so sorry for poor Jennifer Garner and Laura Linney.
Did you all know that Gary Busey is favourite to win with overwhelming odds from the media/bookies and public. That says it all. Stop trying to put him down just because you are all jealous of his fame and careerer. GARY TO WIN

Gary is just an older Jim Carey…..describes himself as mysterious and ppl dont get where hes coming from when conducting an argument.

poor misguide me. I honestly thought the public were meant to vote for the people based on their performance in the house. Some of the housemates behaved obnoxiously and it was definitely not Gary or Audley.
In the past there were some ‘good villains’ we liked to dislike but vile James does not fit this category.
Garys wife is a Hypnotherapist…..he has a great interest in the workings of the human mind.

I don’t and didn’t know much about Gary only my observations as to how he is in the house. In my opinion apart from Audley and Lauren, maybe Frenchy ( don’t know about Claire she wasn’t in long enough to know) but all the rest have had issues with Gary , they have taken it much to far with their negative comments. Bullying is indeed how it looks from this end 3 housemates were so called spoken to by Big Brother about their comments to Gary, then apart from Stephanie, carried on with their evil comments without any further warnings. Maybe it was good airtime for the programme. Celebrity Big Brother should have been just that less George and definitely NOT Dee no. I loved George on Goggle-box but not in CBB,
