Pauline is strong and feisty and she does not ‘suffer fools gladly’. She describes herself as idiosyncratic, opinionated and admits to being overly picky.
She’s now a dance teacher, but had a promising music career in the early 90s that saw her achieve a top ten single with Kylie Minogue. She claims she told The Voice UK coach that her songs were ‘s**t’ while they were on tour together.
Pauline likes that she’s strong willed, ‘if I say something, I’ll stick to it’. She also claims to be a good listener, but will fly off the handle if things don’t go her own way or if someone calls her a liar.
Her son is the most important person in her life and says they ‘only fall out if he brings home a girl for the night’. Her all time idol is Maya Angelou whose poetry helped her come to terms with her ethnicity when she was a youth: ‘Her strong words empower black women and give them a sense of purpose’.
Within her friendship group, Pauline’s the ‘opinionated joker that’s loved and adored by all’. She thinks she’ll be ‘the old prankster’ of the Big Brother house, claiming she has the potential to not only cause a stir, but to win: ‘What’s not to like about Jazzy P?’
She has a phobia of anything out of the sea, red meat and would be mortified if asked to rap in public.
Turning the big 5-0 while on Big Brother, she thinks the show will be a great opportunity to show the public what older women are made of.
Has she really quietened down the last couple of days or are the producers not showing everything coz they want her in?

Bob the trouble is when you conduct yourself in the way she has ie constant bullying and put down remarks of other seemingly innocent people you obviously open yourself up to all sorts of critisism. Its quite simple really. Its ok to bitch about people who themselves bitch like Helen its not ok to bitch and bully people who are themselves innocent of bitching ie jale and christopher. It naturally makes very uncomfortable viewing and she really should be ashamed of herself. Shes only stopped now because its finally clicked that shes not being perceived well, not because she feels sorry for jale. You watch she will just target someone else now. Thats what bullies do. I think once shes out the house and watches it all back she might finally realise she needs to change her ways and become a better person but then i like to give people benefit of the doubt!href=”#comment-56228″>@Bob

Hey argyll do you think like I’m think that bb has secretly hadxa quiet word with those two bullies helen & pauline because there being awfully nice and praising jale, are they that desperate to keep them in if they have its totally out of order, hopefully (its my kitchen) pauline goes tomorrow.
@Lou I don’t disagree with your points, I do however think that it has almost become a witch hunt on here and most of the people saying others are bullying have turned into the bullies themselves.
Some of the comments on here are way over the top and the people who wrote them really need to take a good long hard look at themselves.
@ste BB either called them in and gave them a pat on the back and said cool it because THEY BB want them to stay or Helen has told poison Pauline
about her caution and the 2 have decided to be reasonable to Jale —- no way did it take the farm task for the Bullies to see Jale was ok – something else has happened???? likely to be Helen telling Pauline. BB has to be fair to us as viewers. :down:
Sometimes I wish some of these older folks would just get back into their rocking chairs.
I get a bit sick of the pressure we seem to be under nowadays to act like teenagers and be forever competitive.
Some of these older women scare me. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying life but can we just have a bit more decorum from older people please?

Anyway, you and your “gang” win Christina, I just wanted to come on a fun friendly site/forum and discuss BB but i’ve been bulied away and will find somewhere else. Good job Christina, how you can have any positive opinion on bullies is beyond me.
@Bob when you see Helen with her Jesus comments to Danielle then other remarks that come out of her mouth and behaviour it is just horrible. To have to live with that kind of bullying (I have lived with that in the past) is not a good situation for anyone bullies included. Now I am just talking about the BB housemates and no one else.
Now in real life we are probably all nice normal people (help the old lady across the road etc) but come the parking space scenario we all jump in as we see that as the space we should have. On here we all have our opinions and air them but sadly the web does not always come across the right way,,someone may say something and it does not get seen or understood as it would in real life.
I do not wish to offend anyone but do not like being told what to think about others (most females do not like being told what to do by a make anyway).
What we all need is a chillow one of those chill pillows (you put the frozen gel pack into then you can get a good nights sleep).
I want to try one but keep thinking if it leaked would you wake up thinking you had had an accident. This weather is so oppressive.
God I am being made to feel like a naughty school kid (was always the goodie at school). Well apart from the ruler incident, could never shut up.

What is Big Brother trying to teach it’s viewers? Helen, Pauline and Toya,the three housemates who have been most guilty of backstabbing, intimidation, bullying and general abhorrent behaviour have now ALL received rewards. Helen with her pass to the final, Pauline and now Toya with the Power. Great life lessons for the young and impressionable. Well done Channel 5. You should be ashamed.
She is 49 years old & the wisest woman ever to walk the earth, with many important stories to tell & invaluable, never heard before, advice to give. Because no one else in the history of mankind has ever been a housewife & had to bring up kids. Please show us the way oh wise one, we are hanging on your every word……not!!! :tongue:

I’m actually surprised there has not been any anti gay comments on here by the “gang”, they seem like the type who bully people who are different from others.
