Chris wants to be an actor but is currently between jobs – he enjoys the ‘gypsy lifestyle of acting’ and has never worked a 9-5 job because he ‘just couldn’t’. He is also a skilled artist – selling works of art drawn in biro – and lists his main passions as music, movies, ideas, girls, individuality, creativity, honesty and respect.

The 33-year-old feels that his parents have taught him how to be polite to others at all times: ‘I’m trying to wean myself of this a bit because now I am obsessively polite –if someone punched me in the face and they got blood on their knuckles I’d apologise for making their hands dirty’. He is also quick and witty with a dry sense of humour, claiming: ‘I don’t see class, I just see d**kheads or not d**kheads’.

When asked if he would choose money or love, Chris said: ‘I’d rather have money right now, I’ve got love but I don’t feel independent enough to say I love myself.’ His best personality trait is that if he has bonded with someone, he will ‘love them unconditionally forever – friends and relationships’. He explains his worst personality trait as: ‘I’ll see a sunny day and say yeah but it’s going to rain in a minute’.

Chris is definitely not looking for love in the Big Brother house. He laughed: ‘I never fancied anyone who’s been on BB anyway. That is my worst nightmare.’

He gets on best with intelligent people, as ‘willing stupidity is worse than natural stupidity’. He has a big group of friends, he’s ‘trying to reduce it’.

Chris wants to do Big Brother for the ‘free rent’, ‘to lose weight’ and because he ‘can’t afford therapy’ – but insists he’s not doing the show to further his acting career: ‘I will walk through any open door right now just to check out the scenery.’

He adds that he would resent having to participate in tasks – saying his pride would get in the way, and he hates team bonding games – but thinks he would be brilliant at secret missions.

Never forget however good/bad Judy James is, BB are paying her wages and she will toe the party line. If this week it had been BB’s aim to edit any of the other housemates in such a bad light, Judy James would have had the same comments to make. She is a disgrace to the profession, that’s if she’s even qualified?

Well in that case Jennywren then so am I.
I too feel that Chris is a good guy, with faults (who hasn’t) but if he had been that way all along surely we would have noticed something before now.
He’s been in the house with Ashleigh for all these weeks, yet only this week when the bad editing starts for Chris are we made to believe that Chris is pervy and creepy.
I’m not buying it and I think anyone who knows how manipulative BB can be and has half a brain will not buy it either.

Oh a disgrace is she? 😀 Just because you disagree with her professional opinion about your “beloved Chris”. Tut tut sour grapes hey? 😀

The editing, of course, makes it a complete farce, but our part of the game, I guess, is to see through the edits. But, of course, if we weren’t all so judgemental, it would take the drama out of the whole idea. If instead of booing Helen, for example, we said, ‘Helen, you came into this with an angry view of the world but we can see that you are trying to redeem yourself’ then a) it would be a very long chant, and b) it would be less of a pantomime and less appealing to people, I suppose. Would be nice to have a more compassionate big brother one year, I reckon.

I’ve thought Chris a bit creepy from the first week so I’m not not basing my opinion of him on the so called ‘ bad editing’
He fancies the pants off Ashleigh and doesn’t want anybody else showing her any interest and is guarding her like a dog would guard its master, at least he knows he hasn’t got a cat in hells chance with her and it’s got to remain in his dreams.

I actually said myself chris was a creep under here on Monday which I now regret. I made quick assumptions on one episode which maybe chris did on Pav. I think he shouldn’t accuse Pav on the word of Danielle as it was hurtful and looked like it made the man very uncomfortable and awkward and if others said it about him, as he has also admitted to looking at her, he wouldn’t like it. I do like parts of his personality though, I think he may have gone a wee bit mad in there but then look how some of us, including me, react to their behaviour out here! Can’t write a man off. I actually apologise also for how I reacted in earlier comments

I don’t think I have watched a single BOTS show this year, reading some comments I am happy I didn’t bother.

Anyhow, I still like Chris and am going to see how it pans out, still…. liking him doesn’t change how it potentially looked to me, not 100 % certain yet.

Some of his behaviour towards Pav and Zoe is obviously a self – preservation thing, if nothing else it shows a bit of fight him.

2 days before eviction they give Zoe the chance to defend her comments. Classic manipulation from the producers.

    see you later Chris.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-OvkdukJsk I’m really trying hard to stay positive about Chris as he has been one of the good guys of this series but watching his sycophantic relationship with Helen develop is really testing my limits.

@la de da It is very hypercritical, but he felt as though had no choice….I do feel for Pav and @jonny yeah possibly huni, I think he wouldn’t just choose anybody though but ashliegh is a breathe of fresh air she’s stunning sweet and strong aswell which is a great mix so it would be hard not to fancy her from the guys

@Andrea Same here. I thought he came out of it looking ok tonight. Handled quite well considering.

He isn’t daft so no doubt realised he was a bit out of order with Pav.

Everyone who entered the big brother house should have the right and the opportunity to enjoy their experience in the house. Not sure what Chris’s issues are but it is evidently clear he has several issues that seriously need addressing, we have all heard the phrase (if you can’t beat them, join them) well Chris has surely done that, (he’s joined ranks with the bully’s) he has edged his way into a space where there no space for him. Why don’t he give Pav a rest and stop picking on him, Chris is so transparent, he clearly see’s Pav as a threat to him. GET CHRIS OUT!!!!!!!

Up to his usual tricks and double standards trying to manipulate us into believing that Chris is a horrible person……. He has never liked him and nominated him from day 1 and yet is very disappointed that Chris nominated him and he thought they were friends and he is very hurt!!!!!! Yuk he has never liked him and has always talked behind his back nasty nasty man…… Bots was very hard on Chris tonight….. Very out of order!!!!!

I dint manage to see it all but I genuinely hope that Steven has no sway over public opinion – although BB and BBBOTS and Emma – I’ afraid have gone down in my opinion.

    Certainly its fixed

Just because you feel like a pedophile for finding an 18 year old WOMAN attractive, doesn’t mean you have to project your own issues onto Chris. If the entire house and Ashleigh herself have never felt that their friendship was weird, then I don’t why the audience is so quick to judge. The audience is quick to turn into a bully/Helen as soon as they find a weakness in someone.

I agree Jane. Emma and Rylan should be straight round to their agents to get them out of their contracts with BB after this series because they’re going to end up with a big black mark against their careers. BB has lost all credibility with a lot of viewers and anyone connected with this sham of a show will be tarred with the same brush.

No not at all, she’s made equally stupid and shallow comments about other housemates on other shows and about some people I didn’t particularly like.
Unlike you I don’t just see the positive or negative sides to a person depending on whether I like them or not.

Disgusting also that BBots and BB have decided to target Chris this week. I sincerely hope that when he does leave the house, and sees the charges of ‘Perv’ etc against him, that he takes legal action.
Gone are the days when folk can make accusations behind their anonymous keyboards and get away with it! Now they can be charged. If folk accuse someone of despicable behavior, they had better have proof – not just edited chats in the BB house.
