Chris wants to be an actor but is currently between jobs – he enjoys the ‘gypsy lifestyle of acting’ and has never worked a 9-5 job because he ‘just couldn’t’. He is also a skilled artist – selling works of art drawn in biro – and lists his main passions as music, movies, ideas, girls, individuality, creativity, honesty and respect.
The 33-year-old feels that his parents have taught him how to be polite to others at all times: ‘I’m trying to wean myself of this a bit because now I am obsessively polite –if someone punched me in the face and they got blood on their knuckles I’d apologise for making their hands dirty’. He is also quick and witty with a dry sense of humour, claiming: ‘I don’t see class, I just see d**kheads or not d**kheads’.
When asked if he would choose money or love, Chris said: ‘I’d rather have money right now, I’ve got love but I don’t feel independent enough to say I love myself.’ His best personality trait is that if he has bonded with someone, he will ‘love them unconditionally forever – friends and relationships’. He explains his worst personality trait as: ‘I’ll see a sunny day and say yeah but it’s going to rain in a minute’.
Chris is definitely not looking for love in the Big Brother house. He laughed: ‘I never fancied anyone who’s been on BB anyway. That is my worst nightmare.’
He gets on best with intelligent people, as ‘willing stupidity is worse than natural stupidity’. He has a big group of friends, he’s ‘trying to reduce it’.
Chris wants to do Big Brother for the ‘free rent’, ‘to lose weight’ and because he ‘can’t afford therapy’ – but insists he’s not doing the show to further his acting career: ‘I will walk through any open door right now just to check out the scenery.’
He adds that he would resent having to participate in tasks – saying his pride would get in the way, and he hates team bonding games – but thinks he would be brilliant at secret missions.

Well said Sammyvan. Enough is enough. Especially as all this creepy nonsense came from a role Chris had played in a film a long time ago. Not only is BB vindictive and nasty, but they have no imagination either.
It doesn’t suprise me that Stevens mother is in charge of a hate campaign against Chris. After all, she would never be able to face the fact that her precious was evicted because he wasn’t liked by the public. Much better if they can put the blame on Chris. I notice they daren’t target Ashleigh as she is so popular!!
The only person I want to win BB is pav. I have never liked Chris. His original vt he said he would stand in the corner and be a b*** or something like that. It made Pauline mad and it made me dislike him from Day one. I really dont care about how he looks physically but the way he treated Jale gossiping behind her back in the pod was nasty. There are many times he has shown what a sneaky backstabbing person he really is and his infatuation with Ashleigh makes me not want to watch the show. And as for Ashleigh she is such a big mouth brat who i cant stand either. Chris and Ashleigh suit each other and if she didn’t like all of this attention he is giving her she would of definately said Get lost. But NO she takes his hand and says its warm and lays around on her bed with her legs up and all kinds of things in front of him.. I would never be laying in those positions with a 33 year old freak ogling me..That is so not right and shes playing and manipulating him .. If i was her boyfriend i would be pi*** at what i am watching with her and Chris getting all cozy in the bed and couch and the hugs and kissy face with their one on one moments. She needs to stop it and chris needs to stop it. I blame them both.
Chris calls himself the father of the house and i really dont see him fitting in with anyone. He has such a hatred towards pav and i really wish pav would tell him to butt out and leave him alone. Last nights episode pav finally said something to him and stuck up for himself a bit but not enough in my opinion. pav is letting that loser pick on him for no reason. Cant even hug the creep without being criticized its a one arm hug. I wouldn’t of even hugged him or talked to him and i would of kept on starting at Ashleigh just to make him upset and laugh like Ash does at the reaction of jealousy. Pav could so easily make Chris snap and show his true colors of anger that the other housemates would be shocked to see. Chris reminds me of some killer who the next door neighbours say But he was such a quiet fellow …

What ?? 😀 How laughable, you just see all positive about Chris & nothing will alter your view. At the start I did feel sorry for him, however seeing his true character (not only re Ashleigh) but how 2 faced, weak & sly he is my opinion soon changed. However I think probably your prayers will be answered as some folk like yourself will feel sorry for Chris, which means Zoe will go. :doh:
What on earth happened to the little bundle of potential mischief that entered the house? Cannot believe him championing Helen on her (yawn) non existent journey. Others in the house have heard unpalatable things about themselves but we are not shown their fellow housemates discussing the veracity of these perceptions. Helen though it seems must be noticeably defended and it appears that Chris is now chief defender. Turned into a real wuss.
Wow….all of a sudden a lot of viewers have seen the light..How could anyone not tell all this time what a game player Chris has been..Pls lets get him out…

Maybe Chris was wrong to talk to Pav about Ashleigh, but consider that Chris and Ashleigh heard two ex housemates tell them that Pav was infatuated with Ashleigh. That would make Chris feel protective of her. He’s an old fashioned guy with good moral values, but there are always those whose grubby little minds can turn an innocent friendship into something ugly.friendship

Well said Jennyjuniper, I too like Chris. All this nonsense about him has started because BB are trying to play the PC card – at the expense of Chris. Jaydee will irritate and alienate many people with the comments about “killers”. Grow up and keep quiet if you have nothing constructive to say, here endeth the lesson Jaydee.
He tried to make the hapless Pav look like a lecherous pervert, he is now Helens biggest cheerleader & no matter how much he doth protest too much…. he is creepy as F**k.
Ashleigh doesn’t need anyone to look out for her, she’s strong enough & apparently the peoples favourite.
I was a bit ambivalent about Chris throughout this series, but really don’t like him now.
Either Chris or Zoe to go would do for me tonight. 😀

I dont think people get the point. I think it’s a bit annoying that we can’t say a word about chris but if Helen had done this people here would rip her apart. Not that I’m her fan but it’s hypocritical. Chris has done to Pav something people find mean.He didn’t like Pav and made it clear by speaking to various housemates behind his back even after the conversations they had.He accused the man of perving on an 18 year old girl in front of millions of viewers at a time he knew he was vulnerable. He continued to talk about it to ash and Christopher who disagreed with him. He refused to be friends with Pav and in part isolated him.We as viewers made the mistake in anger of accusing chris of being a creep, knee jerk reaction, totally untrue, unacceptable and it’s taken away from the actual issue. Has anyone said anything before he said that to Pav about his friendship with Ashleigh? No. I love their friendship!It’s irrelevant it was his treatment of Pav that angered us. His behaviour caused this back lash. We’re all getting caught up in the creep shite. I like him he’s an interesting analytical and really good housemate but we can’t rip apart others (Ashleigh at one point, ash, Helen, mark) and give him a pass when he did the same kind of thing.Either that or we should learn from this that they are all humans, including Helen, they will make mistakes and just like we don’t dislike chris because of a bad week we shouldn’t dislike others because of past mistakes on the show and continue to dislike them even after they may have redeemed themselves.

Well i didnt like him from Day one and as days went by i disliked him even more. Him up in the pod trashing Jale and talking about her joining the cool kids.. He did the same now and treats other people like garbage.. So what goes around huh? And as for his friendship with Ashleigh he is a fool and being used by that brat just like she used Christopher and Chris’s demented mind is thinking WOW she likes me , she really likes me.. Okay this is my final opinion on Chris and im out of here.. maybe… because if anything else comes along i need to comment..
There are certain things in life that you really must be careful of.. Michael Jackson inviting kids for sleepovers thinking theres nothing wrong with it and says he did nothing.. Chris laying in bed with Ashleigh and hugging and kissing her head etc.. Okay maybe he is a good guy and innocent and thinks nothing of it BUT like i said you must be very careful especially when you are in a show like this in front of millions of viewers who can misinterpret things.. I feel sorry for the guy BUT he needs to stop being alone one on one with her so much and stay out with the crowd.. For his own good.. If he was a teacher of students of 18 he cant be hugging and kissing their heads either.. Think about it ! Okay im done.. Yell at me.. diss me.. attack me.. dont care.. He is wrong wrong wrong.. @Lou I like Chris, but I don’t like how he treated Pav right from the time he entered, not just after listening to the ex-housemates. I agree, all this extra is distracting away from the real issue and turning it into something more.
If Chris hears any boos he will now think its because of this stupid stuff (i.e having to defend his friendship with Ashleigh) rather than working out it was due to his treatment of Pav.
Saying that – I still want Chris and Pav to stay – vote Zoe out!
