Chris wants to be an actor but is currently between jobs – he enjoys the ‘gypsy lifestyle of acting’ and has never worked a 9-5 job because he ‘just couldn’t’. He is also a skilled artist – selling works of art drawn in biro – and lists his main passions as music, movies, ideas, girls, individuality, creativity, honesty and respect.
The 33-year-old feels that his parents have taught him how to be polite to others at all times: ‘I’m trying to wean myself of this a bit because now I am obsessively polite –if someone punched me in the face and they got blood on their knuckles I’d apologise for making their hands dirty’. He is also quick and witty with a dry sense of humour, claiming: ‘I don’t see class, I just see d**kheads or not d**kheads’.
When asked if he would choose money or love, Chris said: ‘I’d rather have money right now, I’ve got love but I don’t feel independent enough to say I love myself.’ His best personality trait is that if he has bonded with someone, he will ‘love them unconditionally forever – friends and relationships’. He explains his worst personality trait as: ‘I’ll see a sunny day and say yeah but it’s going to rain in a minute’.
Chris is definitely not looking for love in the Big Brother house. He laughed: ‘I never fancied anyone who’s been on BB anyway. That is my worst nightmare.’
He gets on best with intelligent people, as ‘willing stupidity is worse than natural stupidity’. He has a big group of friends, he’s ‘trying to reduce it’.
Chris wants to do Big Brother for the ‘free rent’, ‘to lose weight’ and because he ‘can’t afford therapy’ – but insists he’s not doing the show to further his acting career: ‘I will walk through any open door right now just to check out the scenery.’
He adds that he would resent having to participate in tasks – saying his pride would get in the way, and he hates team bonding games – but thinks he would be brilliant at secret missions.

I do agree with you that pav has not deserved the HM behaviour towards him…. I do feel for him completely because he is out of his depth and he’s a bit lost… I do think that he is a “people watcher” he enjoys watching everyone and analysing them but being in the house he is making people feel uncomfortable… But I am really angry at Danielle…. What an out and out bitch….. She has admitted that she lied to the HM about pav and Zoe to get her own back on them because they voted her out….. Glad I was right about her and that she has gone… Miss prissy pants slapper!!! Lol

Chris has let himself down a bit this week but has been one of the few decent human beings in this years Big Brother in my opinion, and so deserves a second chance.
Pav still hasn’t had his first chance as for some reason both the public and the housemates have been all over him from minute one. I hope he stays and has an easier week next week.
Poor Pav has become a skapegoat and an easy target
Chris has an alterior motive regarding having a go at Pav – Ashleigh is so astute, she would have realised IF Pav had been perving on her but Pav has not been perving. Instead Chris is protecting ‘his safe alliance’ cos remember Chris and Ashleigh had an alliance of necessity that started when they became power housemates together and also they were both outsiders, it has become a genuine alliance where they care about each other and any threat to that alliance Chris has now shown he will absolutely do something to counter that threat and he sees Pav potentially as a threat and wanting to spend time with Ashleigh so he uses that chance to undermine Pav.
When Chris and Pav hugged Chris commented that Pav gives one arm hugs – this was Chris in fight mode because he clasped both his arms around Pav – a control hug. Chris has a fight capacity and Pav was in flight mode which is why he offered the one arm but the other half of his upper body was wanting to get away from Chris. It was aggressive cos Chris was basically accusing Pav as being a perv which is not the truth – its Chris who pervs over Ashleigh as he admitted he looks at Ashleigh a lot and he loves her.
Chris is never direct with anyone. When Helen challenged him, when steven challenged him – Chris just beats around the bush.
dont forget the fact that he claims to be an actor :down: pretty bad actor in my view :down:
Honestly I think Chris is love struck, people who are similar to Chris…like me for instance who cant confrontate or be honest when wanting to give criticism to people’s faces, it is a bit of a challenge on a daily basis for people like us. Chris’s feelings towards ashlieghs letter tonight off her boyfriend showed a smidge of jealousy which not many would see and Chris won’t want make that obvious, with that, or want people to see that he likes her alot, so he will use a “best friend front” to persuade everyone especially her that he doesn’t see her in that way. I know this because I’ve done the exact same thing, same actions, same motives. I’m only 23 and studying for my phd but my social life is something I try to avoid sometimes because its too much for me with all the boisterous people in the world. I feel for Chris it is hard he cant help glaring at her it happens to love struck people 🙁 however I genuinely feel sorry for Pav also for getting the end of all of Chris’s predicament and who was chosen for Chris main target to hide his true emotions/feelings I wouldn’t have done that, the poor guy was doing his best to make friends..chris is a sweet guy who has many fronts/personalities for different people just to satisfy them and I can say SNAP to that as so do I <3

6)Judi James said that Chris accuses to Pav he stares too much at ashleigh yet look at Chris who looks at Ashleigh a lot and engineering – trying to get Ashleigh to cry again by saying ‘oh you got a letter from your boyfriend’ standing waiting for a moment to get in and get a hug from Ashleigh then he homed in and hugged ashleigh and held on too long for comfort. Then Ashleighs body language was turning away like she didnt want the hug. Its extremely unfair after he has accused pav of being the one lurking around ashleigh and she doesnt want it – it doesnt look right. Hypocritical. When he was lying in bed and ashleigh took his hand and stroked it and said your hands are hot…. chris is besotted and he doesnt want anyone else getting near her. He wants her for himself.
in the hierarchy of the house chris is a runt and he was getting picked on before suddenly the newbee housemates move in and chris’s rank is moved up by chris picking on pav so he moves up to a higher level

BEFORE MAKING A JUDGEMENT ON Chris wait to see “Questions asked by Public to HM’s” it shows Chris being asked the question “why did you ask Pav to stop looking at Ashleigh when it is clear you fancy her yourself” His answer was exactly as a lot of regular commentators have said on here – HE SAID IT BECAUSE OF OUTSIDE INFORMATION FROM DANIELLE WHO SAID PAV WAS INFATUATED WITH ASHLEIGH. HE SAID HE(Chris) DID NOT FANCY ASHLEIGH NOT THAT THERE WAS ANYTHING WRONG WITH HER OR THAT SHE WAS NOT FANCIABLE BUT THAT HE JUST DID NOT. HE SAID – I told Pav because that type of thing once said it can be misconstrued (referring to what Danielle said) He was just protecting Pav and also putting it out there

As for Judi James, I am baffled by her interpretations. There appears to be nothing objective about her analysis at all, but rather it is just a route to air her opinions on people – which becomes gospel because she is supposed to be an expert. She comes at things from an angle of negativity and it allows no room for people to change. It’s ludicrous to keep returning to this ‘well, she/he wasn’t like this before’ argument. It implies that people are incapable of genuine self-improvement in response to their situations or encounters. I’m very dubious about her interpretations, I must say.
Oh, @Vicky. I agree with so much of what you say. But I think he’s love struck on anybody who gives him some positive attention, and it just happens to be Ashley. I’m sure that if it was Mark or Ash, he’d be exactly the same! He is desperate to be accepted in the world, and loves and nurtures any relationship in which he feels he can be himself, I think.

Anyway what’s with all this hugging? I know if I was an 18 year old girl being hugged by a 33 year old {virtual stranger} I’d find it most unsettling. Ashleigh being too polite puts up with it. And if it was my daughter in there, I would be very uncomfortable about the whole scenario.

People on hear are still going on about Chris being a “bully” to Pav or about him being “creepy”…. Compare Chris and Helen…. Helen is not afraid of anyone in that house and will speak her mind… She has also childishly called people names behind their backs and has been threatening and intimidating … She also has no respect for anyone else’s feelings… She more than fits the description of the word “bully”…. Can anyone seriously compare that behaviour to Chris???? Because I have NEVER seen him behave in that way…. I have seen him scared, unsure of himself and quiet….. Nobody should label him a “bully” because that simply isn’t true…… We ALL felt sorry for him when Helen was having a go at him so why now is there so much dislike for him?…. He is uncomfortable and awkward and very unsure of himself complete opposite of the behaviour of a bully!!!!!!….. As for these so called “experts” on BBOTS…. They are human and do get it wrong!!!!!…. Also keeping your personal opinion and your professional opinion separate can be extremely difficult…… July usually gets it right but the other 2 on with Rylan are total s**t definitely not worth the money BB is paying them good grief!!!!

Everyone must realise that not only what we see is censored but also what we hear on BOTS. The programme including guests, “experts” and the audience are scripted to what they can say. If a member of the audience goes off script they are cut short immediately. The whole series is a farce, Rylan is the only real person and the sooner he can leave this dreadful production the better for his career. Chris is not a creep, Joe Swash is a moron, and as for Luisa, appalling .
