Chris wants to be an actor but is currently between jobs – he enjoys the ‘gypsy lifestyle of acting’ and has never worked a 9-5 job because he ‘just couldn’t’. He is also a skilled artist – selling works of art drawn in biro – and lists his main passions as music, movies, ideas, girls, individuality, creativity, honesty and respect.
The 33-year-old feels that his parents have taught him how to be polite to others at all times: ‘I’m trying to wean myself of this a bit because now I am obsessively polite –if someone punched me in the face and they got blood on their knuckles I’d apologise for making their hands dirty’. He is also quick and witty with a dry sense of humour, claiming: ‘I don’t see class, I just see d**kheads or not d**kheads’.
When asked if he would choose money or love, Chris said: ‘I’d rather have money right now, I’ve got love but I don’t feel independent enough to say I love myself.’ His best personality trait is that if he has bonded with someone, he will ‘love them unconditionally forever – friends and relationships’. He explains his worst personality trait as: ‘I’ll see a sunny day and say yeah but it’s going to rain in a minute’.
Chris is definitely not looking for love in the Big Brother house. He laughed: ‘I never fancied anyone who’s been on BB anyway. That is my worst nightmare.’
He gets on best with intelligent people, as ‘willing stupidity is worse than natural stupidity’. He has a big group of friends, he’s ‘trying to reduce it’.
Chris wants to do Big Brother for the ‘free rent’, ‘to lose weight’ and because he ‘can’t afford therapy’ – but insists he’s not doing the show to further his acting career: ‘I will walk through any open door right now just to check out the scenery.’
He adds that he would resent having to participate in tasks – saying his pride would get in the way, and he hates team bonding games – but thinks he would be brilliant at secret missions.
@northernmonkey That is so true.
That comment counts for both Pav and Chris.
If they looked like Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp there wouldn’t be a tenth of the negative comments there are on here about them.
Chris make me feel so uncomfortable to watch he needs to be out this week and leave poor ashleigh alone
@jenny wren
I’m the same, it bothers me how quick people are to judge others, more so based on how they look. Why don’t the people judging put a picture of themselves in the avatar and we’ll all judge them.
It was only last week that everyone liked him and were saying he should win. Poor guy does not deserve all of this.
@Bobmeister I agree with you on that point. I think both Pav and Chris are judged harshly 90% of the time because they don’t look like male models.
I do think Chris has been a bit harsh on Pav this week though. I don’t agree with the folk who think his friendship with Ashleigh is creepy or inappropriate, but I do think he’s gone a bit overboard with the whole overprotective big brother (no pun intended) act.
I’m not sure this means he should be fed to the wolves however.
@Bobmeister
@John Kane
I agree with you both (which in turn means you agree -yay!!) it’s a shame the public are so fickle and change minds so quickly. It’s looking like Chris goes on and on but that’s probably not so over 24 hours. I don’t think Pav deserves it at all though, he would be a good friend for Chris, someone to sit and talk to – I hope he lets it go soon as at the moment, it’s himself he is affecting.
Not sure where the ‘creepy’ comments are from though, I haven’t seen that in him at all!!
i havent mentioned anything about his looks i said his body language very awkward creepy yuck
and his behaviour and words towards pav is disgraceful he should be ashamed of himself
Chris is just a very shy man who finds it extremely difficult to make friends… He has no self confidence and is afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing. He is a 33 year old man who has struggled in life… His relationship with Ashleigh is that of a little sister… He cannot believe that a girl like her trusts and respects and values his opinion… He is also very close to Christopher… All three of these people trust and respect one another… They are truly friends…. I haven’t ever seen this “creepiness” where the hell has that come from?????
@Nicky
If he was that “shy”, no way would he have the nerve to hug Ashleigh. And she seemed rather uncomfortable at the prolonged hugging tonight.
@Nicky
you dont know him???? im judging by everything he says in the house, the way he looks at ashleigh, body language and bullying Pav and speaking badly behind backs
he looks at ashleigh in a pervy way tonight and then said i just want to tell your boyfriend how lucky he is and when they get out Chris is gonna give ashleigh the biggest hug youve ever had
he needs to look at how he looks ay ashleigh – not attack poor pav
chris is not shy – no way a shy man could confront pav like that
chris is an idiot cant stand him get out
he fancies the pants off ashleigh
he aint shy get on yer bike
a shy man would not confront and bully pav like that he would jus sit in the background
you all make stupid excuses for these prats
@Saz – great post
@Bobmeister – loving the new look :tongue:
@moona
Yes I agree, I hope he stays too.
:down: i dont care what you all think i have a right to comment on what i see and think
a shy guy wouldnt hug ashleigh for so long and he kissed her on her head *puke*
even if chris looked like brad pitt he still creepy makes my skin crawl
ashleigh didnt look too happy to be hugged like that
chris is obsessed with ashleigh you can see it in his body language and fancial expressions – i know cos ive studied body language
It’s a shame that people use the word “bully” in such a casual way… This word has also been used in describing Helens behaviour in the beginning…. So when you compare Helens behaviour to Chris can you truthfully say that their behaviour is on the same level????? That Chris behaved the same as Helen?
@Jane Shepherd
I supporting Christopher to win now, didn’t like him at first, found him boring in the middle but now think he is the most deserving as we approach the end of the series.
@moona
You have studied body language???? Seriously???? Professionally????….. Oh dear!!! Lol
@Nicky
100% agree casual use of the word “bully”, although I don’t actually(so it must be true) think Helen was a bully either.
chris’s body language and facial expressions scream wierdo awkward not shy sorry
chris has admitted he has sat looking at ashleigh a dozen times cos he just loves her
obsessed and possessive
protective no cos pav is no threat to anyone he is a quiet decent guy the way he dealt with chris was marvelous
The hug with Ashley is awkward ….. Why???? Because Chris feels awkward and it’s a platonic hug…. If Chris liked Ashley in that way there is no way on this earth would he attempt to hug her!!! Lol
get chris out :down:
@moona
“i dont care what you all think i have a right to comment on what i see and think”
As does everyone else. It’s great free speech.
@Bobmeister
yaaaaaay free speeeeech 😀 😀 😀
sorry but i want chris out :envy:
@moona
Gabrielle on big brothers big mouth said Chris is creepy so your not alone babe
