Perez Hilton is the infamous blogger behind PerezHilton.com, one of the biggest celebrity gossip websites on the internet. It has proven controversial for its often abrasive tone and outing of gay stars.
Since he begun blogging in 2004, Perez has become something of a celebrity in his own right, landing guest roles in shows such as America’s Next Top Model, Victorious, Glee and Hot In Cleveland.
In 2007, he had his own VH1 show named What Perez Sez; four years later he came to the UK in ITV2’s Perez Hilton Superfan, which saw him gain insight in to the lives of big names such as Katy Perry and Kelly Rowland.
However, with his fame came a string of celebrity feuds. In June 2009, Perez filed a lawsuit against The Black Eyed Peas’ manager for allegedly punching him in the face after he called Will.i.am a “f***ing faggot”.
More recently he fell out with former friend Lady Gaga. In August 2013, one of the ‘Bad Romance’ singer’s fans informed her on Twitter that they’d spotted Perez at her apartment building, leading to claims that he was stalking her. Perez later insisted he was only looking for a new place to live and that he was unaware Gaga lived there. Other names to have clashed with him include Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande.
Perez is modest about his public perception. He says: “I have notoriety or infamy more than celebrity. I am probably more disliked than I am liked, and that is fine. I’m still in the Big Brother house and I love my life.”
The 36-year-old – real name Mario Lavandeira – signed up to CBB following his milestone tenth year of blogging because he wants people to “become invested in me as a person”. “That’s why Kim Kardashian is successful, the people who like her really like her,” he observes. “I want to be working in another ten years and to do that you need fans.
“I don’t have fans, I have readers and I don’t have a lot of likability. I’m not viewing it as a game, I’m viewing it as fun and I’m going to be myself.”
Perez says he’ll let viewers decide whether he’s a nice person, but accepts that he probably won’t win, laughing: “Only one American has won and that happened last season, so the chances of it happening two seasons consecutively are very slim. Having said that, anything is possible!”

How on earth has BB stooped so low,it is crystal clear that Nadia, Pasty and Periz are silly Pathetic people. It is disgusting to allow Periz who is a pathetic, insecure creature be allowed to get away doing simulated sex, and scramming out allowed to stay on the screen. BB is a crazy machinery, you give Alexander a warning, yet you allow Perez to get away with his filthy behavior. what he has done is worse than how Ken Morley behaved. What possible words can you use to discribe this man. Now the backflip after hearing “GET PEREZ OUT” during the eviction show saying it was his “mind blowing” plan to get kicked out because he truly believes he will be there until the finish and now doesn’t want to. WOW!!!!

I’m astounded that anyone in the entertainment world has ever taken him seriously. I knew little about him before but I did look him up. It seems he started as a evil little troll hidden behind a computer screen making derogatory remarks about real celebrities. Looks like nothing much has changed.
I’ve not seen anything like this behaviour before in CBB and there has been some real nutters in the house over the years.
Does this man have a prior history of mental illness? His unhinged behaviour must be of some concern to BB surely. And all this rubbish about asking for his lawyer because he doesn’t feel safe. Well it is he who creates this a very unsafe environment with his ridiculous antics, antagonistic behaviour, intimidation and screaming outbursts.
The truly sad thing here is that this man has a small child in his full time care to raise, keep safe and teach core values. And what’s even sadder is that I think what we are seeing each night is the real Mario, forget Perez.
In my opinion his disgraceful behaviour since he entered the house could set back the fight for Gay parenting/adoption back into the dark ages and has again stereotyped what many people consider to be typical gay behaviour. This is certainly not my view on gay parenting.
Who would place the welfare of a child in this mans hands.
But it is such a pity that this is what people will see and some will draw their opinions from. Unfortunately many people will not just see him for the nut job he is and lump it in as “just what gay men are like”, and we know this couldn’t be further from the truth.
I totally agree with Michelle’s passionate views on this subject which she discussed in the diary room and the potential damage this could do to an entire community.
CBB might think this is great television and that’s a pity.

I cannot fault anything you’ve written. This man is a menace, and the longer he’s in there I believe he will get worse, if that’s entirely possible!
Maybe we should all switch off when BB comes on air to demonstrate outrage of Perez’s behaviour which BB seems to ignore. Did they call him to the diary room when he stood near Alexander’s bed and was continuously coughing, when his own bed was at the other end of the room. No of course not.

Seriously how can his behaviour be excused by BB and others, like Alexander, have to leave the house due to the harassment.
BB should have called Perez to the diary room and warmed him about his behaviour. The coughing incedinet should have been viewed as harrassment with either Perez being asked by BB to leave the room and continue coughing elsewhere or be told to stop altogether. The coughing was so fake and forced.
Harrassment is just as bad, if not worse than the words that have been exchanged in the house. Although highly inappropriate, words are said and done but harrassment just keeps on going.
People should get over themselves. If it wasn’t for Perez there would be no show. I find him extremely funny

If this is Perez’s way to get people to like him, then he has failed miserably.
I cannot understand how BB could let him get away with so much, when he does much worse things than the people who have received warnings.
Mind you this is the same BB that allows Nadia to blackmail them into getting rid of Ken. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t like Ken, but Perez is worse than he was.
Even if he’s nominated I feel sure that BB will find a way to save him, because they too are idiots who think the public like this car crash tv.
I didn’t watch last night. Instead I watched something that made me laugh instead of making me feel disgusted.
It wouldn’t be half as bad if it was just Perez & KH having a pop at one another, but both of them, especially Perez is dragging everyone else into the sordid mix, the rest of them don’t seem strong enough to withstand their total & utter garbage. KH & Perez have both made a living out of being absolutely vile and they can’t seem to stop.

Perez is the best thing on this show
Perez and Katie Hopkins are both ACTING, Big Brother encourages contestants to be outrageous to gain air time, but it is backfiring because both Katie and Perez and turning into bullies. We are being fooled by their fake behaviour but at least Perez is funny sometimes. We should get them both out and keep contestants in who are keeping it real and being themselves.
I’m here in the US. Will y’all please take this babbling psycho off our hands? We’ll take Katie Hopkins AND someone else you dislike – just keep Perez!!

Nadia is a meddling busybody, standing up for Perez so she can feel heroic. Boo hiss to her. Then she complains that people “blame” her for Perez, that she should not be judged by her company.
