23-year-old Deana is currently Miss India UK and says that the greatest love of her life is money, “I don’t believe in love as every man is, or will be a cheater”.
Deana has successfully modelled in both the UK and India and, by the age of 18, had earned enough money to purchase her own house. She says she’s very ambitious and hardworking and that she finds boys easier to get on with than girls because they are jealous of her looks.
As her mother has always done everything for her and she employs servants when she is working in India, Deana has no idea how to wash up, iron and can’t cook.
She’s single at the moment but says that finding love is not her main goal. In the Big Brother House she thinks the toughest thing will be finding her own space and worries that her blunt honesty will lose her friends as it has done in the past.
I think she will bring drama to BB 😀

Agree with you Michelle. She couldn’t beleive Shievonne and Sara thought Chris was OK when they were discussing the boys in the garden, but yet she said that she likes Hugh Hefner?

She might be pretty on the outside, but is ugly and insecure on the inside. Seems she likes to dish out her rudeness (outside world). But around so many other good looking people. She’s not able to handle she’s not the best or even the prettiest in the room. She would never talk to Rebecca or be friends with her on the outside world. Would call her fat and probably laugh her. These were her words…. And who says “servants”? You can say have a housekeeper, cook or a cleaner. But then again, in India it is a low wage and the “upper class” arent very nice to “lower class”. She would treat them as the word was originally used.
Christina who cares if she has servants? As a person she seems very down to earth and sweet. It’s haters like you who always have bad things to say about anyone that is better looking than you! Stop being a jealous **** !!

@Sharon wow, Have a read of this article, its very interesting. I make judgements of people based on my knowledge and life experiences. I make comments about them cause that is what Big Brother is about.

@Christina- From what we’ve seen on BB, Deana seems lovely- no need for your nasty comments! No one cares about what she has/owns/if she has slaves/servants.. I rather the rich give those poor people the opportunity to work for them and food/roof to live under! Prefer that to them starving/begging. :happy: :up:

Christina i dont think you said anything wrong, you were just voicing your opinion and rightly so. Why has deana appeared on bb if not to be judged.
Sharon is deana’s best friend- no need to be so rude shaz. Why do you think everything is based on looks sharon and that if anyone passes comments which you dislike they are automatically jealous? Its not like that…
Firstly, everyone has servants in india, its not as bad as it sounds. you assume that only rich people have servants but thats not the case. and also these people are not treated badly they simply work for them, cooking and cleaning like a maid. Secondly, i do feel that deana isn’t being genuine however don’t think you should slag her off. I did cringe when she mentioned smon cowell and hugh hefner but maybe she just needs abit of guidance. i actually think she’s done well for herself and she is stunning!

Thanks and that exactly right I was voicing an opinion that are actually based on what she she said. Not to mention I didn’t say anything nasty as others had. Sometimes its fun to start a debate or conversation about housemates the house. Use to be fun to talk about what was happening in the house. But with no live feed, we’re left to pick on the housemates. By insulting me and if she is her friend, it actually makes Deana looks worst. Instead of telling me what makes her charming, pleasant and misunderstood hm.
@kully It is as bad as I think. That’s like saying arranged/forced marriages aren’t that bad. I am not assuming all rich people have servants/maids/help. I am aware that lower/middle class do as well. It doesn’t take much to be middle class in India. Having a job in a call centre will practically put you there. (sarcasm) But India has a caste system and it is strongly observed. Although I have never been to India, read up on it loads when I was planing my multi-stop trip around the world. I have lived and visited quite a few 3 world countries.

I like her, and it’s true, everybody has servants in India, we do too, and we are not considered wealthy. I like Deana, she’s not ‘fake’ she’s just trying to fit in. It must be lonely without any real friends in that place. She seemed most herself when she and Becky were close and was genuinely upset that Becky had used her (and Becky did). And she probably felt alone again. I find her charming.

@Penny I have to agree with you there. It is difficult to tell, due to BB editing. But she really can’t be mad at her…It’s the game. I would have felt happy, I had been chosen. Only means Beccy saw something in her, that could have been positive. I am sure had Beccy seen her VT, she would not have chosen her to befriend. She like all the hms, big up themselves and then become totally something different in there. Unfortunately we pick at their faults.
To be fair i’d say all the housemates are a bit fake, bit shallow and wanting attention otherwise why else would you enter a popularity contest to be judged by the nation??
Don’t get me wrong love BB find it fascinating but we’re only seeing what they want us to see and as human beings whether we admit it or not we all make judgements about people be it right or wrong.
Instead of fighting each other why not just agree to disagree, this is just my opinion doesn’t mean i’m right or wrong its called freedom of speech.

After watching yesterdays daily show (the one where Deana said she’s rather take the money instead of flowers and where she confronted Luke S for having a fake relationship), I can see that Deana didn’t LIE to get in. She is the person she thought she was (Loving money, losing friends because of her blunt honesty).
