Calum Best is the son of footballing legend George Best – but he’s carved out a reputation of his own, becoming notorious in the tabloid press for being a bit of a ladies’ man.
The California-born model has been linked to a string of famous women from Sarah Harding, Rebecca Loos and Lindsay Lohan to former Big Brother housemates Orlaith McAllister and Georgia Salpa.
Tabloid reports revealed details of Calum’s booze and drug-fuelled ‘orgies’, and the man himself admits he turned to the bottle when his father – who had his own well-documented drinking problem – passed away in 2005.
However, he insists he’s not seedy, and he’s since improved his lifestyle dramatically, having kept a low public profile for four years.
Now, in 2015, he’s going on Celebrity Big Brother to show the world that he’s not the same person he was ten years ago – when he perpetuated his playboy persona by joining ITV’s Celebrity Love Island.
“My head is so much clearer than it ever was,” he smiles. “I still have some demons and insecurities, but the last two years have been some of the best of my life.”
Calum is adamant he won’t have sex in the house and says he’s not going in looking for romance – but adds that he’s “no born again Christian” and would get involved with a female housemate if it happened “organically”.
Another thing he’s hoping to avoid is arguments. “I don’t want to have a serious kick off. I have a pretty bad temper, but for me to lose it would have to be pretty severe,” he explained. “I just hope there are problems with other people and I can watch from a distance!”

@Yogi6 I didn’t want to like him through reading in tabloids about his “sexploits” but I can’t help but like him,it did bruise his ego a bit when Cami-Li had a go about his trainers lol but apart from that he doesn’t seem to have an ego (for an American) that’s rare !

Could not stand this bloke watching him on other tv shows in the past but my opinion hasnt half changed from day1 of him entering the bb house. What a down to earth caring lad he is

I agree A lot of them are holding back in order to give themselves a better public persona and Callum fancies Cami Li and their flirting is tiresome but he is hiding his feelings or lust
