James is best known for his role as a professional dancer on hit BBC One talent contest Strictly Come Dancing.
James began taking dance lessons at the age of 10. When he turned 15, he started competing in dance competitions, and by the time he was 21, James was a major finalist in all Open International Competitions and was ranked one of the best in the world.
James met his dancing partner and wife, Ola, at a dancing competition and was mesmerised by the way she danced. Eventually they became dancing partners after travelling to Poland to try-out together. They danced together for a year before they started dating; four years later in 2003, they got married.
In 2006, James joined Strictly for its fourth series alongside Ola. However, it didn’t take long for James to spark a feud with judge Craig Revel Horwood, which resulted in James allegedly storming out of the studios on one occasion when Craig gave him a low score.
On the show, James has been partnered with actresses Georgina Bouzova, Cherie Lunghi, Zöe Lucker and Denise van Outen, presenters Gabby Logan and Alex Jones, media personality Vanessa Feltz and psychologist Pamela Stephenson. James is notorious for his strops and conflicts when faced with negative criticism on camera.
In 2012 it was reported that James and Ola had been dropped from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour, allegedly due to his behaviour behind the scenes. In June 2014 it was reported that James had been fired from the show after eight series.

We all like to think the British public are fair minded & get it right in the end but when decisions are left to the British public, the outcome is always unpredictable.
Lets face it, we live in a society where people don’t see Helen woods & James Jordans behaviour as rude & unacceptable but as entertaining & the popular modern phrase they use is keepin’ it real or tellin’ it like it is, regardless of whose feelings they hurt.
In the real world I personally distance myself from people like that. Beginning to think I’m in the minority :down:
Yes but has he been on a journey? BOTS fed the public with the crap that Helen had gone on a journey and changed for the better. She had allegedly mended her ways! At least they haven’t been stupid enough to invite her back.
Yes James has kept people watching but only because we can’t believe what we see and we have waited for BB to intervene! To be honest without him there would not have been much to see as little else is going on . He is not however worthy of winning as he really is a nasty ,arrogant, jealous excuse for a man!

I hope Gary or Audley will win.
He doesn’t deserve any more of my time, there is a reason why he got sacked, wonder why ??? watch him in the house, your query will be answered. Just feel sorry for his wife, she seems to be a very nice lady. What a plonker he is

I don’t watch Strictly, but my daughter is a fan and she tells me James’s wife is cut from the same cloth as him, can’t take criticism etc., ?? 😉
James is a bully and i am surprised no one has made a comment regarding his remarks last night re getting a fit bird and knocking her back door in extremely offensive

😯 I tend to switch off when he comes on so hadn’t heard that. The guy is so far up his own …, he is cringe! BB should have a word with him but won’t. I said before once his wife learns the language she’ll be off I just hope he doesn’t procreate before then!!@jacki

BBOTS keep telling us Gary is acting his disabilities. But even if he has been acting it doesn’t change the despicable behaviour of the housemates towards him. There must be loads of ‘Gary’s’ out there and he has managed to highlight the way people have so little tolerance because he is supposedly ‘annoying’ and ‘impossible’ to live with. I personally believe he is genuine and is why it has been so painful to watch these celebrities (not including Audley or Lauren) pack mentality around the poor guy! Gary to win!!!

Gary is not what he seems he has recently completed two films in the usa. He is a smart cookie and played them all. I love James made it worth watching. James to win.
