George Gilbey is known for being a cast member on Channel 4’s Gogglebox, the show that watches people watch TV.

The first time George and his family appeared on Gogglebox, he was introduced as not having had a girlfriend for a year, which made George think he would not ever get one again. He is still single.

Electrician George, nicknamed “Squeaky” due to his high pitched voice, originally moved back in with his mum and step-dad after his long-term relationship ended.

Gogglebox won the BAFTA for best reality and constructed factual programme this year.

Everytime I look at the picture of George (above) I can’t help thinking ‘Uriah Heep’. That same oily, ‘umble’and nauseating characteristic.

Why on earth is he in there anyway ?? He’s no celebrity  { he’d have been better suited to the “normal” BB}.

Actually I was going off George when he was with that BITCH Stephanie but he is , I think ‘ just easily led maybe ? I think deep down George is a good guy and a friend in the proper meaning ! I think he would defo be one of the lads and good fun to be around , the girls in the house are craving a cuddle lately and if they feel comfortable with George then why not ?

I am so glad people are wising up to this irritating bore. :straight. I didn’t like him on gigglebox amd really don’t like him, now…. And he’s not a kid, he’s a 30 year old man. And getting paid loads if money for not being a celeb. What impression does this give to our actual youngsters?

So George admits that he has been rude to Gary. He said about not getting his letter ‘It’s probably a good thing, I’d only get a bollocking for smoking and being rude to old men……..

So puzzled as to how the BBOTs panel last night came to the conclusion that George was entertaining,, I have watched this show every night from the start, and have yet to see this entertaining value from him, dull as dishwater IMO.

At first I thought George was not bad (despite hearing about his past as a dealer) just easily led and a bit of a mummy’s boy.
However as time goes on, he’s emerging as a right sly bugger. He never takes the lead in arguments or picking on someone, but he’s always there circling the prey and encouraging the cruelty.
I don’t like him one bit and if James doesn’t go tonight, then I hope it’s Dee and George to leave.

Your right Jenny. George hides behind the rest but really he is just sly. I don,t find him funny in the least. I,m glad his true colours are now coming out.

O and by the way George maybe James should tell you to have a shower like he did with Gary. Also a shave might help. Remember put the soap in your mouth as well to wash the smell out after all the rubbish you have spoke.

OMG you are right I have been trying to think of who he reminds me off – and his name was George too – but surname – Barry George – released after new DNA technology I think but very much an odd ball.

God that’s been bugging me – well done !!
