George Gilbey is known for being a cast member on Channel 4’s Gogglebox, the show that watches people watch TV.
The first time George and his family appeared on Gogglebox, he was introduced as not having had a girlfriend for a year, which made George think he would not ever get one again. He is still single.
Electrician George, nicknamed “Squeaky” due to his high pitched voice, originally moved back in with his mum and step-dad after his long-term relationship ended.
Gogglebox won the BAFTA for best reality and constructed factual programme this year.

Yes, that is why he is unsuitable to be in a place that has so many other dysfunctional people. Mix with them for too long George and you will end up like them.
Let’s face it these show biz (so called) celebs are a different breed to normal people, why are they fawned over so much by many who post here. In the outside world these people are out of their depth and are unable to function normally, that is why their behaviour in BB seems so bizarre.
Audley found himself in a situation over the Maloney person simply because he is one (perhaps the only one) of the well balanced ones in there and didn’t know how to react. Outside he would have.

His voice cannot be that bad – I think he heavily exaggerates it. Plus anyone that finds Stefanie nice must be evil too. He is a silly kid thats very annoying and does not deserve to be there. Gogglebox is the worst thing on tv how can anyone watch that rubbish.
George spoke up,or actually made Gary,his dummy,speak up,during today’s task when Kellie and James were having a disagreement.
If he would just speak out more I’d change my opinion of him! It’s about time someone in there did.
I don’t like the company George keeps which is a shame as I think he’s essentially a nice funny guy. Dee putting him up for eviction was tactical as he could, if he has more to reveal, win the game. To say it was because of his shrill voice was a rubbish excuse. Claire was a bit of a sheep in that one, their explanations for nominating George were identical. They’d clearly broken the rules and discussed it.
Now that Stephanie is still here it will be George’s downfall this week !

Okay I still think George is a spanner short of a tool box but his performance as Gary’s voice in the dummy contest was superb and far better than any of the, so called, actors.
As far as Frenchy goes I couldn’t tell whether she was wearing a mask or not. At one point I thought she must have had a bit of work done by the makeup department but it was only she had put on a mask. I hope she keeps it on.
If I could possibly nominate somebody I would nom her on the grounds of having an offensive pair of lips.
Super annoying voice but I think he’s ok.
His friendship with James & Stephanie won’t do him any favours though, both bad eggs.
To his credit though he has spotted the flaws in both of their characters & I think he will begin to mix more with the other housemates & distance himself from the gruesome twosome.
Then he could actually win this thing, him & Garry are about even in the popularity stakes 😀
