Controversial comedian Jim Davidson has been in showbiz since getting his big break in New Faces in 1976. As well as gigging around the UK doing stand-up, he dominated the small screen throughout the 80s and 90s, presenting What Happened Next, The Jim Davidson Show and The Generation Game.
The cockney comedian has had a tumultuous personal life with four failed marriages and two visits to rehab. He has openly spoken about his 20 year battle with alcohol and declared bankruptcy in 2006: “Being an alcoholic is about more than drinking alcohol, it’s about doing and saying outrageous things and spending too much money. I haven’t got it under control. I don’t drink as much as I used to, but I cheat a bit.”
In July 2000, Jim appeared on documentary Celebrity Rehab to talk about his battles and admitted to an addictive personality including an addiction to sex.
Jim is known for his notorious appearance in Hell’s Kitchen where he had a run in with Brian Dowling back in 2007, bursting in to a homophobic rant in which he labelled the gay former Big Brother presenter a ‘shirtlifter’ and a ‘poof’.
He has been awarded an OBE for his services to charity and regularly performs stand-up for the troops. He is also an active blogger and doesn’t hold back when it comes to posting his provocative opinions. On fat women, Jim has said he “can’t bear them, women are meant to be slim and attractive”.
How can anyone like this guy? Disgusting man.

Think he’s brilliant and has shown a hell of amount of composure with Linda she’s constantly on Jim’s case always station the obvious don’t like you lets not act it and Jim’s the best by not biting good man

I Like him I think he should be in final three along with Ollie and Sam not sure whether he should win though not sure what his intentions were when bringing up the frank Carson thing i think there is still more to story then they are letting on! I think Jim was trying to say that reason Lyn don’t like him is cos Jim was one of the accusers when her husband stole the money and she’s never forgiven him for it! I don’t think he hates women he’s nice to the nice women in the house like Casey and Sam I think he just doesn’t like egotistical women which is understandable really.

I am so surprised that Jim keeps being referred to as misogynist, what has he really done that is sexist? say does it not upset you that you have to raise a daughter as a single parent? is that sexist cause i fail to see it…
yet this show constantly invites misandrist anti male women who seem to love and encourage really offensive behaviour such as Louisa and Linda and label them as strong women?! the way Louisa and Linda treat Jim is unacceptable and on the lines of Bullying and personally boarder line sexist as they clearly seem threatened by his ladish male demeanour presence… if anyone is the misogynist in the show its LEE!! the way he treats Casey is ridiculous

Can’t understand why he went in there in the first place. Does he think the job offers are gonna come rolling in. He is hated within the tv industry & virtually un employable, bar his annual stints in panto. He was always Bernard Manning lite, the world has moved on, sadly Jim has stayed the same, a racist, sexist cave man.
i think jim is great he trys his best to be liked by his fello housemates then uv got linda trying her god dam hardest to turn all the others against him why cant she just leave him be and get over it the more the house mates likes jim the more angry shes getting linda out jim to win 😀

But after a few days and i saw how Linda picked on him trying to convince everyone it was her argument ,then I felt so bad for him . I think he has been so good about the evil Nolan in there he deserves a medal.
How the hell has he not strangled the stroppy toddler Luisa, the invisible sulky faced Sam, toxic z lister Linda and special needs Lee. Casey is like a desperate spinster and Dappy is just thick. That’s why people keep voting to save him, he’s the only one that can string a sentence together. His patience must have surprised even him. Poor sod I cannot even imagine how bad it is in there for him. Hope he wins it.

Jim was quality on tonight’s show, liking him more by the day he’s not sexist he only dislikes big headed conceited women who are on power trips. He doesn’t dislike all women! How dare luisa question why we are voting for Jim we don’t think Jim is sexist we think luisa is a terrible example of a woman she is enough to make me hate women and I am one!

Jim is the best. He is down to earth and he is no bitch. He Speaks the truth, tough if people are that baby minded and cry about it. He does so much for the armed forces and charities which I respect hugely. Even the Royals like him. Vote Jim!!

This man is totally putting on an act! He is so insincere, how can no one see that? Linda asked constantly to be left alone in peace, he knew if he kept coming at her (apologies or not) it would annoy her and cause arguments. Thus he made us turn on Linda. This whole ‘I’ll not eat if they don’t eat’ act was just infuriating. He says everything with a quip of a smile, he knows what he is doing. He may not be all some people are accusing him of, but he is definitely not naturally like that. Compare him to the start and end of the show. He somehow even turned Luisa’s problem with how he nominated her into Luisa apologising to him and Jim not having to back down at all. He is a cocky old man with a smirk on his face everytime he hears a boo of his other housemates. Can everyone please grow a pair and see him for what he is?!
I don’t think Jim is sexist I also think Bb has only showed bad parts of Jim he has looked after Casey like a daughter he’s bin there when she has cryed he’s cheered her up when sad I think that’s the real Jim and I rember watching him when I Was a kid he is my second for winning defo :up:
Linda is like scrooge lol always moaning being nasty to jim, and when he stands uo for himself she beats him down claiming it was he whos caused the argument! so glad shes gone.
