I will be! I graduate in October. I’m going to America in December to work there for a year, so I don’t care what happens in here, I am going to go mad. I’ll do whatever you want me to do!
Are people surprised when you say you’re a scientist?
I look stupid, I know. Scientists don’t look like me. That’s why I love surprising people. I love challenging people’s intelligence. I love catching people out.
Will you fit in with the housemates?
Oh no! Do I think I’ll win this? God no! I know that. I’ve got a better chance of winning the lottery than winning this.
But, as a boxer, you must be competitive?
I’m competitive at some things. I’ve watched the first two episodes before my exams started and I can just see how some of them are acting. You’re not actors, just be yourselves!
Is there anyone in particular who you think is acting?
I know Jade already. I guarantee that if you asked her to spell ‘polyamorous’ she couldn’t! Cristian is a first year bio-med and he says he’s going to be a surgeon. Well, bio-med isn’t surgery. It’s not even medicine. It’s the one you do when you can’t get into general science.
So will you get on with Cristian?
No! I won’t get on with anyone. I might get on with Jack. The only thing that lets him down is that he doesn’t like a drink and if he tells me that I’ll tell him to f*** off!
You describe yourself as the gayest straight man?
I am the gayest straight man around, but I’m not gay. I wish I was; life would be so much easier. It would explain an awful lot!
Speaking of which, you’re a scientist by day but a stripper by night…
Yes, I’m a Pleasure Boy which entails giving pleasure to others! I do it in a classy way. You have the dirty shows which are what everyone has in mind, but then there are things like hen parties where it’s just traditional to get a stripper. You’ve got to be mindful that she might start doing stupid stuff in front of the mother-in-law and you have to have your wits about you to go, ‘What are you doing?’
And we hear you’ve got three alter egos?
Marc with a C Is the scientist, Mark with a K Is the stripper and Marq with a Q is an absolute lunatic!
You are part of Big Brother’s biggest Timebomb so far. Do you feel under pressure to live up to that?
No, no pressure at all. I’m never lonely when I have alcohol and the other Marc comes out. I am going to be in the diary room slating everybody.
Will you be looking to get girls into bed in the house?
Why would you want to? There are girls in there playing games. And they’re playing games more because the camera makes you worse than you are. Especially Jade. I’ve built up a tolerance to hate her already.
I understand that Marc is a fascinating character and makes this series more watchable, but I can’t believe the behaviour he gets away with (except of course that BB needs to keep him in for the ratings).
If another housemate had said a couple of the things Marc has said, they would have been given a warning, or perhaps even removed (calling Sam a c*mbucket? calling Harry a knacker (the Irish equivalent of pikey)?) But because he does it all the time, somehow that makes it okay.
I like Marc and usually I don’t care for men like him. But love him or hate him he has woken that house up.
Calling Sam names is not very nice, but it might help if she didn’t smile and laugh when he says those things. That just gives him the green light to carry on.
As for calling Harry a knacker, what’s wrong with that?
If BB were prepared to throw everyone out for the least offensive remark there would be no-one left, except perhaps Joel.
Being Irish, Marc knows that knacker is an offensive term for traveller. Previous housemates have been removed without warning for using racist terms, even when said in a non-aggressive way between friends.
He’s not a nice guy just goes around being over the top and rude to people because he thinks it makes him more interesting and Unfortunately it does to some viewers but definitely not to me!
Well here’s the scenerio as I see it if Marc leaves.
They will lay in bed til noon, get up, eat, bellyache about something or other. Go in the garden to sunbathe, sleep some more. Eat. Bellyache about something else and if BB doesn’t provide the entertainment in the form of a party, they will go to bed still bellyaching before going to sleep again.
No if Marc goes, the others will be much more fun and carefree they will no longer be treading on egg shells around him and the more interesting characters who have been over shadowed by Marcs constant need for attention will come to the for front. There will still be arguments in the house of course but not just involving him hurling abuse at people!
What ? fun ? It will become a snore~fest in there.
The only person to have created that ‘treading on eggshells’ persona is Harry with her mega sulking.
I agree with Liz, he is foul mouthed to everyone but the public seem to love him for it!

I love marc he’s a great housemate full of fun and naughtiness. Some of the young lads in there are so dire. Nick, Joel,Christian, Danny yawn yawn, they seem so old and jack is a moaner he moans like my dad and he’s 83
I think Marc is the best thing this house could have gotten! He has been real and himself since he entered the house. BB would be boring as hell if he never entered. People like Jack and Danny aren’t going to be friends on the outside so quit this stupid clique thing and play the actually game like Marc. Love him!! 😀 😀

Good for Marc in his efforts in trying to break up the clique otherwise the final four would be jack,Danny,Chloe, Cristian how boring would that be,one thing about Marc he shook up that house since the day he entered and the snooze fest can’t handle it, I hope BB do fix it for him to stay in.
Marcs bubble has finally burst, none of the other house mates really like him apart from Helen wood and that’s not suprising considering they are very similar characters- both egotistical bullies. I’m so glad that the others are not tip toeing around these bas**rds any longer. Marc and Helen looked so desperate when they were trying to bully sam into voting for who they wanted! Having said all this I wouldn’t be suprised if Marc went on to win cos bb is not like it used to be the most popular housemate rarely wins now cos decent viewers don’t bother voting anymore.
Just watched last nights series and he really hasnt changed gear has he! I like the guy, but everyone is playing a game on him now….he’s to dumb to catch on…hope someone tells him to pipe down and stop acting immature before they evict him next week..
And stop talking about the English like they arent there, yes there are cultural differences, and if your smart you’ll understand that, but shut up please Marc…take a leaf out of ‘Show Biz’s’ book pls!
What does Marc wear all the time, are they underpants? Surely they aren’t costumes? Seems as though he only has one pair of regular pants poor boy!
He has multiple sides to his personality and hasn’t gone in there playing it safe like the others. Without him there is no doubt the house would have been the most boring big brother ever. Hope he wins.

Marc is brilliant .. I think a lot of people are blind and just taking the story as it’s fed to them .. before marc went it everyone was saying it was boring which it was all you had was a bunch of fake people playing it safe because the where so scared of maybe getting evicted.. Well he’s changed that and brought people to show there true characters!! Take danny for instance he sat there and talked about Christian and Joel before his friends Sarah and Kieran got thrown out .. then apparently that all when out the window when they left .. everyone forgot about calling jade a game player & all nominating Eileen for being to old! They all team together and I thought was really horrible and unfair to Simon, Sam & marc .. They had a big problem with each of them and was so unfair this was proven by the fact all 3 got nominated asap yet no one branded the other house mates bullies ? When there was so many of them against the 3 .. take for instance when they nominated Sam there was like 7 of them one after the other laying in to her .. yes she is annoying but it could be seen as ganging up! Yet when chloe got nominated and like 2 people said negative comments about her all hell broke loose!! Brian was way to over aggressive he is a man and yes helen comes across strong but I think it’s un acceptable to scream at a woman the way he has done and very intimidating! But because she don’t cry and pull the poor me bully card it’s apparently ok? Brian was obsessed when marc and Helen was part of the rule breaking having fun and getting on with other house mates he hated it because it didn’t fit his very over the top team evil sorry! ! He reckons they pick on people and gang up yet he’s so obsessed he couldn’t stand that Joel actually like them and slagged Joel who happens to be the youngest housemate off for It! And that’s not unfair at all ?? He actually think he’s smarter than Joel hahah when he’s famous for being so dumb?? He tried to play the hero he knows how influential he is and he has always been popular .. He was so unfair to marc who has hardly fine anything that bad at all just had been honest and abit of a wind up .. generally think I’m watching a different show to a lot of people!

I also completely disagree with mark being warned last night .. yes Helena rapist and murderer comments was harsh but what did marc say? And how many names has he been called ? Apparently he called Brian a psycho .. but did Brian not refer to him as the mad scientist? Meat head jock? Bully? And so many other things?? It completely double standards .. The worst part is helen and marc just have each other while there’s loads of everyone else so who’s really being bullied here? Just because your good at defending yourself and like to be honest down mean you can’t be a victim. So wrong.
