“Cheeky, resourceful and tactile” ladies’ man Pav comes from an affluent background and has a traditional Sikh family. He is keen to educate the world on Sikhism and “show them that Sikhs are liberal loving people who know how to have fun”.

Pav says he has come from a ‘good, honest and hardworking background’ and has been taught to respect everyone, “stand my ground, protect my religion and always stand up for myself”.

Due to his beliefs, Pav has never cut his hair and has always worn a full turban when out socially. Although he has traditional values, his beliefs are modern and he “won’t have an arranged marriage, but will marry someone I love and care for no matter what religion they are”.

Pav works for his family’s property business, where he is equal partners with his dad and uncle. He describes it as his dream job but feels he needs a “fit secretary who doesn’t mind a quickie in the photo-copy room”. He also lives with his family, but he wouldn’t have it any other way: “we’re one big team, and my family mean everything to me”.

He is recently single; his ex was his best friend from university, but they split up because they felt better off as friends. Pav likes girls that are short, fun and fit, and he admits to being shallow: “looks are important to me and a strong fashion sense”.

He’s not looking for love in the house but if he’s interested in someone he won’t hide his feelings and will try it on. He says: “put a few hot girls the house please, you can’t w**k over a personality”.

Pav gets on well with fun, level-headed people. He calls himself a prankster and says he is always causing mischief; in the house, he reckons he’ll get on particularly well with Mark as the Scouser is always looking for fun. Pav is 100% certain that he will win Big Brother because he’s genuine and he will be ‘doing it for the Sikhs’.

Oh yes ! Imagine if Pav did win   Just imagine the shock and the fury from the original hms 😯 That would be sweet revenge for how he’s been treated.

I’m still wary of the guy. Mainly because I liked Pauline and Helen went they first went in!
So far I think Pav is okay, but remarks on here that Pav went in the diary room and said he didn’t fancy Ashleigh, proves he doesn’t? You will take his word for it, but not believe one word that comes out of Chris’s mouth?
I still say that when he, Bianca and Zoe were in their private suite and discussing who to send home, Pav fought for Ashleigh to stay and I thought at the time (and this was long before Chris and Pav had their issues) He fancies Ashleigh.
If Chris goes tomorrow (hope it’s Zoe instead, I wouldn’t be a bit suprised to see Pav moving close to Ashleigh.

@jennyjuniper I don’t understand what is wrong with someone (be it Pav, Chris, Ash or even Helen) fancying Ashleigh?

She the best looking and most decent person in the house, what is there NOT to be attracted to?

Even if he does, or Chris does, so what? They’re not being inappropriate with it.

Would love pav to win. The original housemates have been such a let down this year, with the ‘outsiders’ joining the ‘cool kids’ and the bullied becoming the bullies. Hope he wins if not hope its christopher as hes the only one whos kind of a free spirit in there; ie not one of Helens lap dogs. Hope pav gets cheers this week  @Maybee

on the ‘pop poll’ tab at top of this page – Pav has become quite popular and supported blesss him i voted for him 😀
blooming chris is a bully, pav is sweet and didnt even notice chris was being slyly horrible – pav handled the situation with grace and politeness but in diary room was deflated and felt low self esteem cos of horrible chris

    @Bob Yeah I agree, I think he’s a goner tonight.

I’d probably prefer Zoe to go, but neither of them would be any great loss to the show.

If he does go I just hope he gets cheered instead of the crazy boo’s being spewed at him last week.

😉 I’d love Pav to “take the money & run”, he owes not one iota of loyalty to the remaining self obsessed hms. 😀

You can guarantee, 100% that Chris and Pav will be the two housemates nominated for eviction this week.

They’re both easy touches and everyone in there knows, with it being face-to-face noms, that neither of them will kick off if they are voted up.

Nobody is going to mess with anyone close to Helen. In fact I’d be surprised if Mark, Winston or Ash receive a SINGLE vote.

He seems ok but in all fairness has added zero to the show, yet another man with no backbone.

I agree, he is likeable enough but appears to be without any personality or charisma. I think if he came in at the beginning of the series he would have gone out by week 3. He brings nothing to the party.

Loved pav on tonight’s Bb, loved the way he immediately sprang to Christmas defence when awfull Ash started to bad mouth him to the other housemates. Also love his new bromance with Christmas and I hope they are both in the final

Sorry Liz. but I do have to disagree with you. Although he has been watching the show he does not have the all day insight to Christmas behaviour. I think he know Christmas is the favourite to win and is just “sucking up” – not that I blame him, Pav. is out to win the money. Mark is history in his eyes and he will play the main chance. I would expect nothing else from him. The existing HMs. are tired mentally and he will try to take full advantage. I would be disappointed if he got his way and won the money, it will leave a sour taste in the Publics mouth for all the money they have spent trying to keep their favourites in for so many weeks.

I don’t think that he is any more a game player than the others. Obviously they would all like the money that’s why they are in there. In fact I think he is very modest and the most unassuming of all the housemates in there. I hate the way the other housemates feel that it’s thier right to be in the final but not his. They all went through the same audition process and are all Bb housemates. I’ve not really warmed to any of the housemates this year the ones that I did like have turned out to be Helen lovers, so I would personally love to see Pav- the underdog go on to win. Pav likes Christmas cos Christmas is a nice guy. He’s the one I would most like to be friends with if I was in there. To be honest all the others apart from Winston are a bit iffy in my opinion.

I reckon the producers have purposely put Pav in as a sacrificial lamb, they knew he wouldn’t be excepted by the other HMs and would be an easy target for nomination which would take up one of the weeks evictions leaving their preferred HMs that bit nearer the final.

Hello Liz. I do appreciate your comments and I would agree Pav is a likeable person unlike some of the HMs. However I feel whilst Pav has the “theory” of winning, like they all do, he has little or no imagination or originality and as such appears boring. I feel the Winner should have something about them, after all we have invested time, money and emotion over many weeks and I would feel cheated if someone such as Christmas does not win. Cheers

Sorry Pav, you’ve done nothing wrong mate but BB decided before you went in that you’d be a goner before the final week.
