“Cheeky, resourceful and tactile” ladies’ man Pav comes from an affluent background and has a traditional Sikh family. He is keen to educate the world on Sikhism and “show them that Sikhs are liberal loving people who know how to have fun”.
Pav says he has come from a ‘good, honest and hardworking background’ and has been taught to respect everyone, “stand my ground, protect my religion and always stand up for myself”.
Due to his beliefs, Pav has never cut his hair and has always worn a full turban when out socially. Although he has traditional values, his beliefs are modern and he “won’t have an arranged marriage, but will marry someone I love and care for no matter what religion they are”.
Pav works for his family’s property business, where he is equal partners with his dad and uncle. He describes it as his dream job but feels he needs a “fit secretary who doesn’t mind a quickie in the photo-copy room”. He also lives with his family, but he wouldn’t have it any other way: “we’re one big team, and my family mean everything to me”.
He is recently single; his ex was his best friend from university, but they split up because they felt better off as friends. Pav likes girls that are short, fun and fit, and he admits to being shallow: “looks are important to me and a strong fashion sense”.
He’s not looking for love in the house but if he’s interested in someone he won’t hide his feelings and will try it on. He says: “put a few hot girls the house please, you can’t w**k over a personality”.
Pav gets on well with fun, level-headed people. He calls himself a prankster and says he is always causing mischief; in the house, he reckons he’ll get on particularly well with Mark as the Scouser is always looking for fun. Pav is 100% certain that he will win Big Brother because he’s genuine and he will be ‘doing it for the Sikhs’.
He seems quite sure of himself, that’s not a bad thing, should do ok I think.

Seems to me like a typical TOWIE wannabe who just happens to have a turban on his head. He’s doing nothing for the Sikhs, just for himself, like the rest of the fame-hungry housemates.

I agree with both of you, infact the 3 newcomers all seem as bad as each other. Another buch of wanna be/nearly made it before but failed.
When is channel going to realise. I really really hope another channel syndicate gets the opportunity next year. Either that or all the channel 5 people that chose this years housemates go into the house and we can see what they are thinking, because from where I am sitting the don’t seem to thinking at all!
Seems too shallow and conceited. I don’t like any of the 3 new housemates, what a let down.

Think he seems very arrogant and creepy, don’t like him at all. But credit where it’s due, he is VERY good at reading people!! He’s comments about Helen at the end of the episode was absolutely spot on!! And I LOVEDDDDDDD the way he continuously spoke over “Sadistic Steven” in the garden. It was refreshing to hear another voice speak over “Suicidal Steven” for once.
I agree with danny, I know Pav very well and there is alot to come from Pav folks.
Pav has always been a smart cookie and his decisions are very out of the box.
There something very special about Pav, looking forward to seeing his magic.
Like him I like the way he wants to give public what they want and evict someone who is not liked he seems intelligent to :up:

I actually really like Pav. He’s a slow burner but he’s already showing signs that he could be a really good housemate. So refreshing to have someone like him… Biannca’s bitchy, awful, sex driven act is boring me to death, it’s been done before… Hope people pick up the phone to save Pav in order to get Biannca out.
Much as it was a pretty much throw away comment, but suggesting to steve, that kim will cheat, is really adding fuel to the fire of what could be a domestic violent situation.

I am writing this because, years ago I was in a realtionship with someone similar to steve, and it was a nasty throwaway comment by one of his friends that led to him kicking the s***t out of me. He’s friend had implied I was cheating, which i wasn’t, but my ex didn’t listen to reason, he did later apologise, but by then it was too late, I’d taken a beating.
Why I am saying this is because steve is a very cling possesive man, the slightest suggestion that kim would look at another man would be enough to make him pre-empty attack her.
So please think before you say such powerful comments.
Other than that pav, seem like a decent enough person so far.
He is too boring I suspect he will be another Marlon in the sense that he won’t add to the show. I guess we will have to see. So far though out of the new three I quite like Zoe.
