“I moan about everything and can be ridiculously and unnecessarily over dramatic.”

Cameron lives with his family in Norwich and is a vlogger. He is keen to show that not all teenagers are “sheep who think the world owes them everything”.

He is extremely competitive and the thought of losing makes him feel sick. His idol is Winston Churchill who he says is “a legend of a man.”

Despite his name being an anagram for ‘romance,’ he says he is “completely hopeless in love.” He has a fear of mushrooms and all animals.

Cameron was six-months-old when the first Big Brother aired in 2000.

Q&A

Why are you taking part in Big Brother?
I’ve watched Big Brother since I was about 10, and I’ve loved it ever since, I’ve been hooked. The term super fan is overused, but I would class myself as a huge fan. The minute I turned 18, this is what I really wanted to do. It almost feels like a dream come true.

What will you bring to the house?
I’m quite opinionated. And I think we’ve lost debate a bit in the world, so I’d be up for a debate. It doesn’t always have to get into a slanging match of ‘You’re a this, you’re a that…’, it can be done in a sensible way. I don’t think that I’m a typical 18-year-old.

Who’s your favourite Big Brother Housemate?
I really liked Helen Wood [Big Brother 15]. I wouldn’t have wanted to live with her, but I thought she was brilliant. But it’s very difficult to pick just one Housemate.

What kind of Housemate would you get on with?
I’m one of these people who can get on with anyone, but also not get on with anyone. I don’t like arrogance. I think I’m easy to get on with, but at the same time, I can easily not get on with people. I don’t like fakeness or over-the-top people. I don’t like people who moan, but then I moan all the time. So that’s a bit hypocritical really. And stupid little things annoy me too, like people that tap or make stupid noises. I like people that can have deep conversations.

What will you miss most from the outside world?
Obviously my family. And the news, because I think I’m quite switched on. And I’ll miss watching football.

What is your favourite possession?
I’m not a possession-y kind of person. I have teddies. You’d think I was three. I’ve got quite a lot of them. Most of them are in the loft, because apparently I’m too old for them. When I was younger I couldn’t really fit in the bed because I had so many teddies.

Anything you wouldn’t do on camera?
I don’t think I’d take my clothes off. But I think I’d be up for most things on camera, within reason.

What can we expect from you as a Housemate?
I’m not going to be the cook; I’m not going to be the cleaner. For an 18-year-old, I think I’ve got some decent stories to tell. I’m not going to go out of my way to start arguments, but I do enjoy arguing.

How would you go about winning Big Brother?
I think I could get to the final if I wanted to. I think I’d know how to. I wouldn’t do it, because I think it would be a waste of the opportunity. I don’t want to go into the House and be someone else, and then come out and think, ‘Oh great, what would have happened if I’d actually been myself?’ So I’m just going to be myself from the start.

Please Note: This is a historic profile based on publicity information about the housemate released at the time of their participation on Big Brother, which may no longer be accurate in the present day.
