Anthony is very close to his family – so much so that at home he never has to cook, clean, wash up, make a cup of tea or iron his clothes.

His grandmother even irons his “pulling outfit”, which he has been known to spray with Holy water.

He worked as a postman but gave it up to train as a hairdresser because “I’m interested in fashion and birds”.

On Saturday nights he performs on stage in ’70s clothes and wigs for ladies’ nights and is known by his ’70s character “Chico from Puerto Rico”.

His ideal woman would be a cross between Jennifer Ellison and all of Girls Aloud (except the “ginger one”) and he admits he loves false breasts.

“Because I have to be the centre of attention, I love myself and I dance all the time and I talk lots.”
