Kellie Maloney was formerly known as boxing promoter Frank Maloney. Frank was extremely successful, best known for managing Lennox Lewis and helping him become World Heavyweight Champion in 1993.
In October 2013, Frank made the decision to retire from boxing, explaining that he had ‘fallen out of love’ with the sport. However, Kellie now cites her transition as the real reason.
Kellie says she has felt trapped in the wrong body since she was a child. She is now a year into her change and is learning to live life as a woman – a life she kept secret due to the macho world she lived in as a boxing promoter.
In the past two years, Kellie has secretly undergone hormone therapy, hundreds of hours of hair removal electrolysis, voice coaching and specialist counselling.
Twice-married and parent of three daughters, she wanted the transition to be private to protect her family and to build up the confidence to reveal her new identity. She planned to reveal her new life in a book once, until she was exposed by a journalist and made the decision to go public.
Kellie had anticipated a tough response from the world of sport, but the reaction was almost universally positive. The relief has now led to Kellie wanting to work with the transgender community after their incredible support for her.

I really don’t like Kellie and find it very uncomfortable to watch. How can someone be involved in a boxing career get married have kids then decide to be a woman at that age? I just don’t buy it. Half the time she acts like Kellie. Then gets angry and acts like Frank. Throwing in childish tantrums all the time. How can you put on a wig and a dress then have a whole new personality. That means a lot of her is false and she doesn’t really know who she is. She should have done through this at home as she is clearly not 100% kellie and ready for this. Too confusing to watch.

Quite right, should have spent more time coming to terms with whatever he/she decides is the correct gender, not on a show where most of the inmates don’t know whether they are on their a** or their elbow.
Mind you with that sort of split personality you could have her making cup cakes one minute and laying concrete the next.

Kellie, becoming a woman is your choice and society will accept you, it’s about you accepting yourself that matters. To go onto a game show that you know publicly humiliates housemates, is not the best way to gain acceptance. The game is all about personalities and so far you appear to be little more than a spoilt brat if you don’t get your own way or are put up for eviction. You are grumpy at times and keep threatening to leave. This is why you will be evicted not the fact that you now wear a skirt!

Kellie is a self-obsessed bore with a ridiculous and undeserved sense of entitlement. Shockingly poor Housemate, driving the others nuts going on and on and on about FRANK and what he would or would not do if he were there (he IS there!) and threatening to ‘walk’ ten times a day. Whenever I see that miserable wizened face I want to change channels. Accusing decent, likeable Audley of transphobia was super-low, even for K. Kellie OUT.

Married TWICE and has three daughters,. Neither wife had the least clue he was ‘a woman’. His second wife was devoted to him and says now that, had she known Frank was a woman, she’d never have married him.
Utterly selfish person. I can’t bear Kellie. Overflowing with self pity – no concern for the loved ones who’ve been cast aside and hurt.

I just want to say that Julie Hesmondhalgh (may have incorrect spelling sorry) – AKA Hayley from Coronation Street – has done more for transgender – than this strange misunderstood vindictive person could ever wish to do.

kellie is vile. he/she/it has serious problems. if she wants to be a woman why is she still dressing like a bloke half the time. all frank has done is put a wig on and started sulking and crying and somehow thinks this is how to be a woman. until he forgets and gets in peoples faces, no real woman would be as aggresive as he is, plus he has a cheek to say he hates 2-faced people. he is as two faced as they come. I hope he gets booed, and i really hope the media stop giving him so much attention as this is what he is after……..YUK!

I love the fact that you looked it up !
But the fact is you need to have a womb and overies that produce estrogen then the inbalance of estrogen against other hormones will call PMS/PMT – even if Frank/Kellie receives estrogen as an injection she cant experience PMS without the womb, so when Franks ‘elephants trunk’ as you put it has been removed, he still won’t have overies.
p.s. Didn’t Bobbit go onto make a fortunes in a certain area that Frenchy and Helen Wood are familiar with. I thought it was reattached with a built in extension !
