Louie Spence is an English choreographer, television personality and the artistic director of Pineapple Dance Studios. He was a professional dancer, and in his youth performed in West End musicals such as Cats and Closer to Heaven.
Louie rose to fame in the Sky 1 docusoap Pineapple Dance Studios. The show gave viewers an insight into the world of the studios of the same name, and introduced several employees including Louie, his fellow former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Andrew Stone, and regular Tricia Walsh-Smith.
Raised on a North London council estate, Louie lisped his first words and was academically ‘awful’, but when he started dancing at the age of five, he shone. He toured and worked with Take That, E17, 2 Unlimited, Boyzone, Eternal, Björk, and Jocelyn Brown. He was one of only five professional male dancers selected to accompany the Spice Girls on their debut Spiceworld tour, travelling the globe for a whole year.
His BFF was, and still is, Emma Bunton. Their similar work ethic and working class backgrounds made them fast friends. One of his favourite ‘on tour’ anecdotes involves the Spice Girls filling up with petrol in their pyjamas.
Louie joined the West End cast of Cats as Magical Mr. Mistoffelees – a name he has great difficultly pronouncing, and for a year wore a Lycra cat suit with a yak’s-hair wig and tail.
In 2012, Louie bagged his highest profile TV role to date when he joined the judging panel of hit ITV talent contest Dancing On Ice. However, he left after just one series, in favour of the return of Jason Gardiner.

At least Louie says it how it is and does not sulk or dip out of the tasks like the other two, they are just whingers who want to win, hope they don’t as others in there deserve the air time to promote themselves.

Ah yes, the old chestnut ‘saying it like it is’ rears it’s ugly head. Anyone who rides roughshod over other peoples emotions is just nasty & cold hearted. Louie has an exaggerated sense of how he is viewed by the voting public and was crying ,not only because he was not the first HM saved but because Charlotte and, particularly,Lauren were both shown to be more popular than him..
When he got chucked off ‘Dancing on Ice’ he said that, because he was the people’s real judge, he would keep giving his opinion on twitter.
I am not sure that anyone read them.
He has an ego which is just as expanded as his waistline and has a desire to win just as much, if not more, than anyone else. His very been craves it.

Loved Louie prending to walk on glass. Would have loved it even more if BB had done a double switch and replaced the fake glass with the real thing.Now that would have been so funny,watching him hobble off. Bruce could have bellowed at him for bleeding on the floor.
What happened to the tight Carol-Louie pack? They don’t seem so friendly now…could of been becos they were starved for the past week and he looked black-eyed and about to drop.
Carol is not so much on the cameras now…I think she got to speak to some ppl during her time alone in that room. She chatted about seeing behind the scenes and walking through corridors.
She’s safe until the semi final I think….she’s got some high flying friends behind the scenes there.
