Louie Spence is an English choreographer, television personality and the artistic director of Pineapple Dance Studios. He was a professional dancer, and in his youth performed in West End musicals such as Cats and Closer to Heaven.
Louie rose to fame in the Sky 1 docusoap Pineapple Dance Studios. The show gave viewers an insight into the world of the studios of the same name, and introduced several employees including Louie, his fellow former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Andrew Stone, and regular Tricia Walsh-Smith.
Raised on a North London council estate, Louie lisped his first words and was academically ‘awful’, but when he started dancing at the age of five, he shone. He toured and worked with Take That, E17, 2 Unlimited, Boyzone, Eternal, Björk, and Jocelyn Brown. He was one of only five professional male dancers selected to accompany the Spice Girls on their debut Spiceworld tour, travelling the globe for a whole year.
His BFF was, and still is, Emma Bunton. Their similar work ethic and working class backgrounds made them fast friends. One of his favourite ‘on tour’ anecdotes involves the Spice Girls filling up with petrol in their pyjamas.
Louie joined the West End cast of Cats as Magical Mr. Mistoffelees – a name he has great difficultly pronouncing, and for a year wore a Lycra cat suit with a yak’s-hair wig and tail.
In 2012, Louie bagged his highest profile TV role to date when he joined the judging panel of hit ITV talent contest Dancing On Ice. However, he left after just one series, in favour of the return of Jason Gardiner.

N, Your comments are exactly what you would get from someone who thinks Louie & Carol are behaving normally, I refused to watch the last BB, for the simple reason, Ch 5 are manipulating the whole series down to giving Louie the Louse a vehicle to get a new role on TV, I am not buying it, the same way I am not buying Rylan being an acceptable personality, he is not & certainly not a good role model! Your comments regarding Lauren, while I dont really like her, are despicable? Louie & Carols behaviour is not acceptable in a modern society let alone on TV? Ch 5, Ive had it with this I’m out ! Louie has really shown his real colours. He has two faces one for the cameras and then the real person. He’s a nasty dried up old queen. It’s about time he learned a new dance routine the same kicks and twirls yawn. :down:
