Rylan is best known for his flamboyant performances on this year’s X Factor. Following spats with judge Gary Barlow and several songs for survival, Rylan made it to the quarter final shows after an impressive eight weeks in the competition. Mentored by Nicole Sherzinger, his performances saw him flying out of planes to the Spice Girls and coining his own type of ‘Rylan Style’ in excessive costumes.
X Factor wasn’t the first time that Rylan has graced our screens and earlier this year, party animal Rylan scooped second place in the modelling TV series, Signed by Katie Price. As well as modelling, Rylan was also part of a Spanish boy band called 4bidden and has performed in Take That and Westlife tribute bands. A week after leaving the X Factor, he was presenting morning TV as the Guest Entertainment Editor on Daybreak.
Rylan spends a lot of time perfecting his look and admitted: ‘All my money goes on what I look like, if I can’t eat, I can’t eat. At least I’ve got my colour match right.’ Rylan is single after having his heartbroken three years ago. He says ‘I can’t wait to have kids. I’ve never been with a girl, it’s not my thing but I’m not ruling it out. I want the Range Rover, the husband and two kids. I want to take my boy to football on a Sunday and my little girl dancing on a Wednesday.’
Before finding fame on The X Factor, Rylan auditioned for the civilian version of Big Brother, but was turned down by producers.

Rylan isn’t even a proper celeb, he shouldn’t even be participating in this show. He was only in tabloids for being in the x factor for all the wrong reasons. He was a circus act & a joke, nothing more! Let’s just get that straight. A complete & utter gaydar clown.

Yes Irene I am well aware of his bitching, he thinks he’s gonna be the king of the group who can decide when he wants out of a situation. I think he’s going behind their back & then putting on another face in front of them is because he secretly is plotting against them & has got it in for them. His comments about them being weirdos was very uncalled for as well yet he can call them rude for not coming out of the basement to say hello. He was offended by the fact they didn’t come out & kiss his feet yet it’s ok for him to call them mean names behind their back? Big Brother needs to have words with this guy, otherwise it will all get out of hand within the next couple of days.

The weirdo comment came from Spencer in their entry VT. He said he had seen the line-up and they all looked like weirdo’s and horrendous ( I think) Whatever, he was extremely rude . Th at is what Rylan had taken offence to and his reason for sending them to the basement. He then went on to be just as bitchy about them and back stabbed. When they emerged from their self imposed isolation he couldn’t do enough for them. No integrity. Shades of Julie Goodyear. Get rid of them , Rylan and Banghard and the rest are ok
Well tbh Irene many of them do look a bit odd, but that’s because americans tend to make their apperance look more natural & plain than the british do. Firstly the british women tend to over-do their makeup which is what Lacey, Claire & Gillian have done tbh. I can see where he’s coming from about looking weird. The ones who do look horrendous are Razor, Rylan & Ryan. Lolololol. Sorry to say all this but I can see the images Spencer would immediately see.
So it’s totally unacceptable for Rylan to be rude but excusable for the americans. Sorry I disagree
Thought Rylan was much better last night. Takes time to get to know the unknown(to me) house mates. Still dont like the two bratty Americans. Think its time for them to grow up and hopefully that is what they will learn from this.Dont know how old they are but he is like a stroppy toddler and she probably does as she is told in fear of his temper.Too many adults in there for him to deal with. Liking most of the rest of them and hopefully Claire Gillian and Tricia will come through more and the less educated children will stop hogging the show. ie. the americans .

Every time he comes on screen just want to switch off…. silly voice, a great long gangly bunch of bones, swears to get a reaction, talentless, WHY IS HE THERE?

Silly question, I’m sure, but… does anyone else have a hard time trying to understand what comes out of Rylan’s mouth half the time? I don’t know if it’s just me, his Essex accent, or the amount of botox in his upper lip that make it nearly impossible to make out what he’s saying. For example, he read out the instructions the other day and I *know* he was saying ‘water’ but it constantly came out ‘waah-aah’. It’s frustrating that I have to replay his scenes multiple times and still can’t get what he’s saying. Like after he announced Frankie and Sam would do the generator task, I still haven’t got a clue what he mumbled as he flopped back down.

The funniest moment so far this season (IMO) was when Rylan offered elocution lessons to Heidi.

Asked the question before, why is Rylan there, he is useless, not even entertaining, waste of space, surly BB could have picked someone with an ounce of brain matter other than him, never heard of him before this, had to look him up!!! speaks volumes.
