Samantha is an ex-television executive, TV consultant, journalist, writer, yogi and French housewife and most famous for her controversially honest account of her own beauty.
Samantha, 40, was born in Birmingham but now lives in the Dordogne in South-West France with her French husband artisan carpenter Pascal and teenage stepson Antonio.
She has made documentaries and reality shows for every major channel, including ITV, BBC and Channel 4 in the UK and in the US MTV, Fox and Bravo – amongst others. Whilst at Sky TV she gave Tess Daly, Russell Brand, Kirsty Gallacher and Kate Thornton their first break on TV.
Samantha’s famous article from the Daily Mail on 3rd April 2012 made headlines for being self-indulgent and too self-gratifying. The title of the article was ‘There are downsides to looking this pretty. Why women hate me for being beautiful’.
The article outlines the hardships of being so attractive and how difficult it is to be subject to jealousy and envy from other woman “Once, a well-dressed chap bought my train ticket when I was standing behind him in the queue. While there was another occasion when a charming gentleman paid my fare as I stepped out of a cab in Paris. Even bar tenders frequently shoo my credit card away when I try to settle my bill.”
She says she’s been dropped by countless friends who ‘felt threatened if I was merely in the presence of their other halves.’
“My detractors have simply proved my point. Their level of anger only underlines that no one in this world is more reviled than a pretty woman. No one bothered to ask how I was coping. But what everyone wanted to know, vulture-like, was what it’s like to be so hated and reviled.”

No, I’d say she’s far too nice & decent actually, just like Deana was. Hahaha, although I feel through my vibes that Samantha is the most genuine person I’ve seen going into that big brother house. Don’t think she’s hiding anything about herself & I really admired how she tried to make viewers understand her recent article about being beautiful without coming across as egoistic & narcissistic like what others have called her. I doubt she’s any of these things, the british public always take people with high levels of confidence the wrong way me thinks 🙁 She would do really well in the US though with that attitude 😉 Lol!

firstly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and i actually would not say Sam is beautiful.She is ok but quite average.Secondly although she comes across as pretty nice i actually think she is going to be the one who is playing a good game and i think she will be the one who plays HM against each other and stirs things up….big time.Lets see what happens, i think shes a very clever lady.

Au revoir Samantha . She’s off now to write her articles , which she said last week she wouldn’t do, because they are all so vulnerable in there. A change of mind has very surprisingly occurred as she told Brian last night because she is now going to force herself to spill the beans. The HMs were quite right to be wary of her. She has the nerve to moralise about Danica so I hope she is NOT expecting to be paid for her articles! What a viper trying so hard to pretend she was sweet and innocent.

Watched Samantha on BOTS furiously defending Julie. Little does she know that when Julie told people she was watching their back, she meant she was watching it as she plunged the knife in it. She’ll find out soon enough (after watching the full series) just what kind of manipulative, lying and conniving witch she truly is. 😀
She really made bit of a fool of herself on BOTS. Julie poured false praise all over her , which was nauseating to say the least and her ego soaked it up. She cannot be so naive surely.Maybe when she has had a chance to see the stuff that the viewers have seen,she will get a proper perspective. Machiavellian characters are so powerful and I believe Julie would trample on anyone to get where she thinks she deserves to be. I have never heard so much self aggrandizement before. what a thoroughly distasteful person Julie Goodyear has shown herself to be.
