Patsy Kensit had a colourful childhood: born to an associate of notorious gangster Reggie Kray, she entered showbiz at an early age, appearing alongside Mia Farrow in the 1974 film adaptation of The Great Gatsby.
While her acting career was beginning to take off, she also tried her hand at singing, joining her brother Jamie’s band Eighth Wonder. They had moderate success in the UK, with singles ‘I’m Not Scared’ and ‘Cross My Heart’ reaching seven and thirteen in the charts respectively – but proved more popular in Japan and Italy, where they scored number one hits.
The band split in 1989, and shortly afterwards Patsy scored the biggest acting job of her career, playing Rika van den Haas opposite Mel Gibson in Hollywood blockbuster Lethal Weapon 2.
In 2004 she made the move in to TV soaps, joining ITV’s Emmerdale, where she was involved in several explosive storylines as superbitch Sadie King. She moved on to BBC One’s Holby City in 2007, playing ward sister Faye Morton.
Patsy has also made headlines over the years due to her private life: she has been married four times, to musicians Dan Donovan, Jim Kerr, Liam Gallagher and Jeremy Healy.
Explaining her decision to join Celebrity Big Brother, Patsy says: “I have been a fan of the show for so long, and it has gone through so many changes. I have always watched the celebrity ones, but this past summer I watched the civilian one and was really gripped by it. I think it said a lot about how relevant it still is.
“I’m 47 in March and I really wanted to do this before I’m 50. I think I am just interested in seeing how mentally tough I am.”
Patsy admits her worst habit is flatulence, and she could end up annoying her housemates, as she “apparently” speaks and snores in her sleep. “Everyone is going to grate on each other,” she laughs. “I love the show on the first night when everyone goes in and says ‘it’s lovely to see you’, then seven days later they’re killing each other!”

I like patsy she’s a down to earth person.

Totally agree….. The way Chloe was acting you would think she had been her best pal for years……..OTT or what 😯 I think Patsy is insecure and vulnerable at the moment.

I agree Chloe went OTT and she shouldn’t make Patsy feel guilty for not saving her.
If Chloe was telling me off for not saving her I would have said something like ”Who do you think you’re telling me who I should’ve saved?”. lol
I wanted to go in the CBB and tell Chloe to leave Patsy alone and tell Patsy that she has nothing to say sorry for and she has the right to pick who she wants to save.
Nice enough woman but for me, she has added nothing to the show yet.

I liked Patsy 🙁 , but she voted for her supposed best friends Nadia and Perez and i dont think she is honest. She isn’t enjoying herself, and she got so upset about not having hair straighteners — shallow but nice lady i think? Doesn’t deserve to win tho :heart:

I think Patsy has to come out. She was shaking when Perez was near her, unsurprisingly. She’s quite clearly disturbed in some way. Also she very boring and can barely string a sentence together. My stomach is in knots watching her.
