George Gilbey is known for being a cast member on Channel 4’s Gogglebox, the show that watches people watch TV.
The first time George and his family appeared on Gogglebox, he was introduced as not having had a girlfriend for a year, which made George think he would not ever get one again. He is still single.
Electrician George, nicknamed “Squeaky” due to his high pitched voice, originally moved back in with his mum and step-dad after his long-term relationship ended.
Gogglebox won the BAFTA for best reality and constructed factual programme this year.

George is a lovely guy, in actual fact hes my cousin and none of you actually know the guy to be commenting like that, none of you have right to pass judgement on someone you have never met, and he is the most deserving person to win, hes down to earth and loyal and as for who he hangs around with, no one tells you who to hang around with so why?! And as for hes voice, it isn’t over exaggerated at all, that’s just him

I think George is an OK guy, but we have every right to pass judgment on all the HMs , that’s what the show and this forum is all about 😉

Sabrina , voting for him would be passing judgement on him. As we `can`t pass judgement on him` we can`t vote so he can`t win. God forbid he does. Though I would argue he gave us the right to pass judgement when he decided to set foot in the Big Brother house, a show based around the public passing judgement. That said, I still won`t be voting for him.

Everyone I know cheered when we saw George go in the house.. As we watched we saw this dude slowly turn to the dark side… Certainly hasn’t got darthvaders voice but certainly developed a black heart like his bezzys James the bitch and rotten ricci. Omg! Just as nasty as the other bullies towards decent people and lets hope he hangs his head in shame at his behaviour when he watches this back. So glad he wont be gracing my tv on gogglebox anymore…totally lost all respect for the idiot as have most people. What a disappointment! :down: Booooooo

If they are in the public eye, then they can expect people to judge them and on a show like BB that’s what it’s all about, judging who is the most liked.
No-one expects you to bad mouth your cousin, but don’t worry, we’ll do it for you.
