Reality television stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt – also known as ‘Speidi’ – shot to fame in MTV’s popular show, The Hills. They are known for their turbulent relationship which dominated the show’s storylines for many seasons. The blonde bombshell called of their engagement briefly in 2007 but the pair married in a lavish and dramatic ceremony which aired during a pivotal episode of The Hills.
Spencer, who is known for his controversial opinions, was named ‘Top Villain of reality television’ in America’s TV Guide. As well as Laguna Beach and Princes of Malibu, the extravagant pair also had a stint in the US version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me out of Here, lasting a mere four days before infamously quitting. The born again Christian couple released a book called How to be Famous in 2009 which included tips like ‘Sexy girls get all the attention, not good girls’ and ‘never leave the house without full hair and makeup’.
In 2009, Heidi famously underwent 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day including a nose job, fat injections in her cheeks, neck liposuction and buttock implants. Of her procedures, Heidi said: ‘I was an ugly duckling’ and described herself as being ‘an upgraded version of me’ after the surgery. Only a year later, Heidi admitted that she is against plastic surgery.
Spencer has openly admitted that he believes ‘Speidi’ are ‘the most famous people in the world’ and says: ‘I would do reality TV forever. It’s so much cooler to have people come up to me and be like “Spencer Pratt!” and know my name, than to be Orlando Bloom who’s famous for being some pirate.’
Love Heidi. Wish she went in without Spencer. She’ll be one of the first out because of her twat of a husband 🙁
Lewis, her husband will be the one who advertises what they’re all about, Heidi will soon flow into the shadow of him, I can just see it. Let’s face it, he’s goddamn sexy & he knows it! Unfortunately british people seem to be funny about those with high levels of confidence & attitude 🙁 Plus Heidi is just as confident within her looks as him, they both said in their video one of the most important things to them is looking pretty so they’re both very vain & believe they’ve got it all physically. Which they have of course 🙂
Oh wait a sec difference is between those two is: Spencer is gorgeous physically & does have an amazing appearance, Heidi well she leaves a lot to be desired. Of course once again the plastic surgery had the opposite effect of what she wanted. Now she looks like some plastic barbie doll whose beauty is all fabricated….
Well at least Heidi has grasped & had the dignity to admit the reality plastic surgery has had on her physically. I give her loads of credit for that. I wouldn’t go as far as an ugly duckling, think she’s being a bit harsh on herself there. HOWEVER she’s 1000 miles off a beauty queen like she’s painted to be in the US! No wonder America are stereotypically titled as the “dumb nation”. *sighs & rolls eyes*

Dont think either of them are attractive and they definitely lack basic good manners. Someone should inform them that the British are not all parodies of American fantasy. Think they were rather surprised to find themselves in the company of at least some people with discernible talent. The title celebrity is now a complete joke.
What Irene & you think someone like Rylan fits the title do you? Speidi are both fantastic actors, who are known worldwide for appearing in “The Hills” it’s a major show well known. They’re an actor & actress so they pretty much have earned their place as celebrities thank you very much Irene. They’ve had acting experience, have had awards for it as well & were at the centre of attention & stole the show for several series with their attention grabbing storylines & Spencer wouldn’t believe they’re the most famous people around the world for no reason. So stick that down your pipe & smoke it. Compare their life in the public eye to someone like Rylan who should have never even been considered for this show. He was the circus gaydar joke act on X Factor & got through to the quarter finals for all the wrong reasons Irene. He basically sung like a cat’s chorus, dressed like a drag act & danced around like a prat. That is what got him splashed across british tabloid & spread across national television. It’s a flippin’ disgrace how he can be more popular than Speidi, he’s well liked for being an even bigger joke than Jedward? Popular for getting far in a singing competition without a single shread of talent? Did you hear his comments about Speidi being a “bunch of weirdos”, he for one is bang out of order to slag them off when he is bottom of the barrell in celeb world right now, he’s a z lister. So Irene I think you’re focusing on the wrong people here.

Spencer is so gorgeous, I would be so willing to be his other half if him & Heidi didn’t keep the marriage going up for long & got a divorce 😉 Until then though I will just keep giving him the dreamy, charming stare whenever I see his face ahahahaha 🙂

Sarah Jane Will you please calm down. I have an opinion and do not agree with you about Speidi. It is not the end of the world love.Then you attack me for thinking Rylan fits the title. That is a complete aggresive assumption Please try to be assertive rather than aggresive. It really is off putting. You have valid opinions and feel free to express them. Please allow others their’s. We cannot all agree on everything and to get so upset at others opinions is a self defeating exercise and you must wear yourself out. Rylan did not call speidi a bunch of weirdos either. Spencer called his future housemates that in their entry VT. I however will not unmercifully attack you for getting that wrong.Please can we have a reasonably friendly exchange of ideas without fear of defamation.
Irene I know what they said in their VT. I can remember bursting out laughing when they said it & thinking “wow, wasn’t expecting to hear that”. I just misheard Rylan’s words that’s all. I thought he said they were behaving like a bunch of weirdos. So shut up smartie because I already knew these two had said all that in their VT, it was what Rylan said which I misinterpreted & didn’t hear properly. That’s all it was. Lol.
YEAH they are up for eviction. Only fair really in my opinion. Ugly inside and out.

Why is everyone hating on these two when they are the ones who will make the series!!! Rylan is so irritating and is the continuation of the degrading of Essex. Speidi are only there to play up to the villain role so let them!!!
AA I love Speidi, look back at my comments, I’ve made a good few sticking by them, it’s Irene Pearson who hates them. I too think they’ll make the series but Rylan, the one who I cannot stand the most seems hellbent on turning all the other housemates against them & has it in for them.
