C5 releases Big Brother 2014 eye logo – pictures
Channel 5 has today unveiled the brand new eye logo for Big Brother 2014, which features a futuristic black, pink and blue design.
The main part of the motif is formed of blocks resembling electronic circuit boards, while the pupil features line and curve patterns similar to those use by the broadcaster during their first few series of the show.
Two versions have been released – one with a black background, and the other with a black eye on a white background. You can see both below:
It is unclear what the new eye may represent, with iconic Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley having previously claimed that the new series will feature a ‘special theme’.
The fifteenth civilian Big Brother hits our screens next month, followed by the fourteenth Celebrity edition in August. These are the last two runs guaranteed by Channel 5’s current rights deal for the show, which expires later this year.

Love it very slick! looking forward to seeing a futuristic house? Iron legacy themeing? Judging on channel 5 previous eyes usually resemble the theme and hint of house decor for the year…exciting?

I recon they’ll be doing something like last year, with it being lit up! Just wait a few weeks and I’ll put a £10 on it being changed!! :tongue:

I’m thinking an interactive series perhaps.
With an eye like this, it would be near impossible to justify adding clouds to the titles. Maybe they should try using the backdrop from the press photos? Would look better
