Mark says his friends would describe him as a ‘lovely person that always looks gorgeous. I’m a good loyal friend until people cross me – then it’s another story’.

He is very focussed on his image, getting his hair professionally done four times a week and a spray tan once a week. He also has ‘HD’ eyebrows, which he describes as ‘proper massive and razor sharp’. He even claims to be ‘a bit psychic’, using tarot cards to decide what to wear.

Mark doesn’t like that he has a short temper and never backs down from an argument: ‘I often fly off the handle over the smallest things like if the wind blows my hair out of place’. However, he reckons his lack of a ‘filter’ is part of his ‘charm’: ‘I just say what I want when I want and never think before I speak.’

He finds it difficult dating: ‘my problem is that I’m beyond picky, no one is ever good enough for me’.

Mark believes he’ll be a ‘fabulous, fun housemate’ who will always make people laugh. He knows how to keep a ‘high energy’ and can’t wait to give people makeovers – ‘there’s going to be a Scouse brow day once a week where I’ll give all my fellow housemates a Scouse brow’. He claims he gets on with everyone apart from ‘dickheads’ and judgemental people.

He’s ridiculously competitive and hates to lose: ‘If I don’t win, I just sulk’. He’d hate any mental tasks and says ‘I’d be an epic fail if I had do an IQ test or any general knowledge quizzes’.

Now now, that’s a touch of “regional racism” 😉 What about the many, many southern comedians that are over rated and unfunny, with their cockney accents etc. If I needed urgent help, I know who’d be 1st in the line to assist, yes Liverpudlians  definitely not the Southerners.

Hiya Wally, do these Southerners have any sense of irony? 😉 At least Scousers can have a laugh at themselves without taking umbrage. 😀

Agree with you pal, scousers are annoying & I’m not from down South. If you look up scouser in the dictionary it says ANNOYING., they just are…end of. They need to deal with it, get over it & move on.

Haha his accent kills me too. He does differ to many scousers though, as in he doesn’t look like he has dressed from a skip.

Oh and doesn’t seem violent and has a job in visual merchadising ( shelf stacking to you and I ) 😀

Is this man for real….all that wailling and screeching… it must be an act…to get noticed…..I’m bored with it now……in real life he would be a nonendity….. a little fish trying to be a big Shark….his persona/act is all wrong he should be the quiet Guru with wisdom and high intelligence…he puts me off watching now….if Steve and Ash go that’s it for me

I don’t think he want to please the public by not picking sides. I wouldn’t pick sides in that house. Its ever your one of the bullies or being bullied. I would hate to be both.

Mark trying to get Matthew to reconcile with Helen was ridiculous. You just can’t reason with the unreasonable. He’d be better off completely ignoring her. Being nice & phoney to people you can’t stand can be a huge mental strain. Ignoring her would be Matthew ‘keepin’ it real’ haha. In the immortal words of MORRISEY – ‘Why do I give valuable time/ To people who don’t care If I live or die’

Why in this day and age, with all the education regarding cigarettes, would anyone smoke. Crazy. Save the money and buy a book, I’ve heard the dictionary is a good read.

@kat Nice to know that when people start light hearted harmless banter ? There are still Idiots like you that want to take it a step further to were it becomes bitterness & hateful bile ? Perhaps you may like to put your name forward to be a house mate, your not related to Pauline or Toya are you, just asking ? As you seem to hold the same kind of Generalisations when it comes to judging people. & as for “being here all week” ? Thats far to long, IMO ? :straight:

So funny when he had the paint goo stuf thrown on him in bed last night, even funnier was Jale’s description of a figure running in the room.

It even went in his hair, how Ash did not burst out laughing when Mark was screeching I do not know. Thank god there is a task that is funny, best one in this series.

I don’t like him, I think he has a real nasty streak but gets away with it coz of his campy ‘yoohoo’ delivery. Also anyone who believes al this tea leaf, psychic mumbo jumbo is just an idiot who should not be indulged & pandered to. Is he Derek Acorah’s son??

Notice how happy and fun and peaceful the main house was last night without Helen and Kim?

Even Mark, one of Helens main lieutenants, mentioned it.

Poor lad seems to be a troll target on here, purely based on where he s from. How adult. As for ‘I’m here all week’ I haven’t been but judging by the level of comment I haven’t missed anything of any importance.

I am totally at a loss as to why his two best friends in the house are Helen & Matthew.
Now Matthew I can understand but what is his fascination with the frightening Helen.
After witnessing her corosive outbursts, especially towards his so called best friend Matthew, how can he even look at Helen without horror & contempt.
Being pally with two sworn enemy’s who hate each others guts just doesn’t add up. I just don’t get it or him for that matter :conf:
