Jale is sarcastic and dry, she isn’t afraid to say what she thinks. She hates weakness in others, and likes to rant – especially about things she is passionate about, such as ‘s**t drivers, terrible call centre workers, people who are s**t at their jobs and martyrs’.
She currently works as a customer adviser, and has been doing ‘lots of project work’ for about a year. She had to move teams because a ‘girl thought I didn’t like her, and like a moron, instead of speaking to me like an adult, told a manager and it got massively blown up’.
Jale’s school life was difficult as she says ‘a lot of people at school hated me’. She says people took a dislike to her because she was ‘strong minded and strong willed’ and would stand up for herself.
She has strong political views on immigrants, benefits and unemployment and thinks the ‘divide between the rich and poor is sick’. She thinks the government are ‘making the rich richer and the poor are scrambling around trying to feed themselves’.
Jale always tries to see the good in people but can sometimes hurt people with her words. She says she uses them as a ‘defence mechanism’ and will verbally ‘tear someone apart’ if she gets angry. Her worst trait is that she gets wound up too easily – she has to meditate on a daily basis because if she doesn’t, her ‘energy builds up, her defence mechanism goes up and her temper comes’.
Her strengths are ‘thinking and strategising’ and she thinks this would benefit her in tasks. She would direct people if they were ‘f**king about’.
Jale – who doesn’t have any pets, but would like a dog – lives on her own in a two bedroom house, because she ‘can’t live with people, it’s a proven fact’. She thinks she would be a unique, multifaceted Big Brother housemate and will probably ‘make a bit of a tit out of myself’.
In the house, Jale will find it hard to keep her mouth shut. She says that if people target and test her, ‘they’re not going to do well of it’.
Thebig difference is that while Jale’ takes it on the chin, Helen takes it just above the chin.
I had high hopes for Jale when she first went into the house. I thought she wouldn’t take any crap from the likes of Pauline and Helen and Ash, but I was wrong. I can see where she might not want to argue with the others, go along to get along so to speak. But to actually say that Ash’s bully boy tactics were ‘okay, because he didn’t know me’ was awful. As if bullying in any shape or form whether to strangers or people you know is acceptable.
Started off well, but been going downhill since is the way I feel about Jale right now.
EWWWW pls evict her.
Jale will get a wake up call on friday when she’s up again, she will get booed to the high heavens for buddying up to Helen.
liked her at first, really rooted for her when she was bullied but, christ, what has she become……..I just can’t.
Ashleigh is the only housemate left with any balls. 😥
Jale is cool she knows that no matter who she ‘buddies’ up to she is still a person in her own right its just the immature people who want to condemn others through association is silly like school children playing up!
Jale will be in the final
Ugh, i really hope not. @Shelli
Agreed! @lad
She’s crossed over to the dark side :down: 😉
‘The uncool kid that suddenly got in with the cool kids’ as Chris so rightly put it! :up:
OMG people!!!! Male was bullied from the moment she entered….. The people that didn’t bully her saw her being treated badly…. But didn’t stick up for her… She was totally alone… YET… She didn’t break down… She had a few tears but didn’t sob her heart out… She kept quiet held her head high and moved forward…. With the behaviour we all saw how many of us would be strong enough to take that rubbish???? Who wouldn’t be friends with the person that bullied you in the beginning? If you can befriend them then at least there is a good possibility they won’t pick on you again…. With the treatment she has suffered in the house and they way she has and is dealing with it is amazing… What a genuinely beautiful girl inside and out!!!
@Nicky Dyne I can’t understand the mentality of someone who would befriend and support someone who (without provocation) had done their level best to intimidate and alienate them for their first two weeks that they were in the house.
@John Kane
Have you ever been bullied?…. To turn that around and have that bully “like” you and they stop the nastiness is a relief!!! Jale is keeping the peace if Helen kicks off again she won’t support her…jale doesn’t compromise her morals values and principles…. Jale is such a strong person I don’t think she realises how strong she is!!!….
I also have a different opinion of Helen that might not agree with the majority too!!!! Whoops!!!! Very controversial!!! Lol
@Nicky Dyne Honestly, no. I don’t think I could honestly say that I was ever bullied.
Maybe that’s why I don’t understand Jale’s behaviour. Or everyone else in the house who sides with Helen for that matter. It seems to me that they are just reinforcing her abhorrent behaviour.
Just like the producers of the show.
Would you care to share your different views of Helen with the rest of us?

I have just commented on Helens profile but here is what I think…. Firstly I do not agree with her behaviour it is absolutely disgusting………
I think Helen is a very misunderstood and confused person…. Her behaviour is unforgiving and completely disgusting but I have changed my mind about her….. We all “hate” Helen but it’s not her we hate it’s her behaviour…. She is like a small child… She is very easily led if someone (Pauline) tells her that Jale is a terrible person Helen will act on that and be horrible to her… Helen is also very needy… If someone criticises her she acts so hurt and angry that someone has accused her of being wrong…. If she gets the feeling that she is not liked again she is hurt and takes it really to heart…. What comes out of her mouth is a defence mode …terrible awful words but I don’t think she actually means them…. The others around her like Ash just encourage her to be even worse he is so bad for her….. She is like a very immature child I feel sorry for her as I don’t think she has had a positive influence in her life….
@Nicky Dyne I replied over on Helen’s page.
Can I just say thanks Nicky for posting your views. It’s great to have a genuine discussion on here rather than the usual name-calling and mindless ranting etc you normally see.
I wish there were more on here like you so we could get a proper debate going.
Thank you!!!!
I agree to some extent with you Nicky, in that Jale has had to use survival tactics byapparently befriending Helen, I think Jale is fully aware that it is easier to do that in an effort to keep the peace in the house. But I also think that whilst you believe Helen to be confused and misunderstood, she is certainly not naïve. Whilst she does admit her mistakes she continually repeats them and does not accept the consequences of her actions, at the age of 27 she should know better but she remains a malicious vindictive individual with no empathy or humility. But I’m afraid her behaviour is now classed as explosive TV
@Jane Shepherd Great post. Fully agree.
@Jane Shepherd
I do actually agree with you!!! But I don’t want to write someone off completely especially if I don’t know them personally… I like to leave a little hope that if maybe she did get some help would she change???… Maybe maybe not!!! It’s still nice to have a little hope!!! Lol
Jale, although I still like her, I think she’s getting a little too comfortable in her new position in the hierarchy.
She suddenly, the past couple of days, thinks that she knows everything about everyone. She always gotta start her statements with “I’m telling you now” or “to be completely honest with you”… gets on my nerves.
@Violet Yep, that does my box in. Toya was a sucker for that too, started almost every sentence with: “Let me tell you something…”
Frustrating.
@Violet
But she is quite a few years older than the others 😉 and to be completely honest with you 😀 I suppose these are her usual everyday sayings outside. I’m telling you now 😀 don’t we all have our own particular (even annoying) phrases. 😉
@John Kane
There’s certainly been a lot of debating on here today! As you can imagine, I’m disappointed to have missed it all as I love a good mass debate, well who doesn’t!
@John Kane Yep… Toya did… I can picture her saying it in my head now.
