Danielle lives her life by strict Catholic values and her ‘old-fashioned’ views. She believes in traditional gender roles and feels the ‘1950s housewife was a better role model’, claiming ‘things were better years ago’. She’s against gay marriage but insists she isn’t homophobic.
She is very business minded and aspires to have her own successful business. She is currently working on setting up a firm to make a ‘new type of Wonderbra’ and is trying to secure an investment. She is very focused: ‘I know what I want and I know how to get it’.
Danielle’s idols are God and her mum. She also counted Britney Spears among her heroes ‘until she went crazy’.
The last argument Danielle had was a few weeks before Big Brother with a guy in a club. He got annoyed because he had bought Danielle and her friend drinks and expected them to talk to him – but Danielle had other ideas: ‘He thought that just buying us a drink meant we had to be all over him’.
She tends to go on a night out at least once a fortnight, beginning with her friends coming over to her place. They’d get ready, open some of her ‘vintage champagne’ and then go to a club until about 2am. Sometimes they move on to afterparties, but Danielle is sceptical about these as ‘they can be sleazy’. She has never had a kebab in her life.
She thinks her friends would describe her as ‘confident, savvy, intelligent, determined and sensible’. She is never reckless and will ‘never wholeheartedly let my hair down’.
Danielle is currently single and has only had two long term relationships, both with Catholic boys. She says she will always be ‘upfront about not believing in sex before marriage’.
In the house, she would get on best with ‘well mannered, cultured, mature people’. She likes to keep her cards close to her chest and thinks she may clash with ‘liberal girls’ who tell lots of vulgar stories.
After Big Brother, Danielle wants to be a role model for women and young girls and help them to aim higher. She is disgusted at the trends at the moment for revealing clothes and doesn’t think you need to ‘dress like that’ to be successful. She wants to show people how to have ‘class, flair and charisma’.
Wow, I am particularly impressed by Danielle. I love what a breath of fresh air she is. What I can also relate to her on is traditional values on marriage, se* before it, having a sensible and savvy head on your shoulders and how life was far superior decades ago. Danielle is also not afraid to put her religious beliefs forward to the public which is also admirable as it shows why religion should in fact be respected and accepted rather than mocked, insulted or dismissed. I really hope Danielle and Tamara are a big success on Big Brother 2014 for of course entirely different reasons and look forward to seeing how both of them take to one another in the next few weeks.

Is there any reason you chose not to write out the word “sex”? It’s not as if it’s an offensive word, you know.
As a gay person i respect this woman and her views! about time we had an housemate like this.
I’m a bit confused by her beliefs and what she does. But hey, I don’t judge; let her do what she wants. If she impresses the public, she’ll stay. If not, she’ll be evicted.
She says she is disgusted “at trends for revealing clothes”, well a bit of a hypocrite judging by her very low cut red dress. She obviously doesn’t care about the “sin of immodesty”. I find her calculating and 2 faced, she is my least favourite housemate.
Part-time model. Yeh right. Remember, there is a right way and a wrong way to do everything.The wrong way is to keep trying to make everyone else do it the right way.
She is a hypocrite, she says she is catholic yet she drinks and gets drunk, what happened to not abusing your body! As for being against same sex marriage, don’t even get me started. She’s already been upset so can’t see her lasting long. Good riddance I say

Not that there’s anything wrong with being a model or a lingerie model, but why contradict it by saying she disagrees with revealing clothing and vulgar stories

Articles speaking of her as someone who “has the moral high ground”?!? Really? This woman doesn’t want gay people to be able to get married – and has the moral high ground now?

Well, to be honest with you, like Danielle I too set certain rules regarding the language I use, one of the reasons I like her so much. To many it’s not an offensive word but to me it’s not appropriate language to be using on a chat forum. The fact that many sites stop the public writing the whole word like that one out as it could be deemed offensive by some out there speaks volumes. So Garth, it can be deemed offensive. It may be 21st century, but not everyone is so easy going on inappropriate language as you are.
Amazing – she fake-cries because her sensitive ears can’t handle all the sex talk in the house.
But a year ago she sold a story about BB Dexter’s penis to the tabloids. :down:

I’m not sure about the hypocrisy at the moment, I think time will tell if she truly stands by those morals. I suppose we don’t have to agree there’s no conflict between views and career – its better just to consider what we see in the house I think.
Personally, I think Danielle is putting on a act in front of the cameras last night was a prime example. If she is as religious as she commits too then why would she have people take pictures of herself wearing next to nothing? Surely if she’s watched big brother before, she would of heard housemates talk about sex etc,there is limited things they can do. Total hypocrite.
She is bonkers yes, but please keep her in, want to see another cat fight with the vile Helen. Also if curvy & voluptuous is fat in Helens eyes, then give me fat any day of the week :up: :up: :up:
Danielle has really confused me! Says she is a prim and proper lady, doesn’t swear doesn’t believe in sex before marriage but all she has done since being put off is f and blind it. I’m sure that is not how ladies are supposed to talk.
I really hope Danielle gets saved from eviction tomorrow night, really am beginning to fall in love with her (as a housemate, not in a romantic way) and I’m glad she has accepted Helen’s apology with grace Helen certainly wasn’t so willing to forgive and forget when Danielle approached her with an apology. Shows she’s the bigger person in a way, mind you many of her comments regarding Helen were pretty accurate. However Helen’s became prejudiced and insulting towards Danielle’s religious beliefs and physical appearance which in my opinion should have at least lead to a final warning or her free pass granted to an alternative housemate.
