Christopher is passionate about great journalism and getting the scoop before others. He enjoys the thrill of the chase and he refuses to take the word no for an answer; ‘making things happen is everything to me’.

A big fan of Katie Hopkins and White Dee, he is also passionate about ‘having an opinion’ and hates it when people don’t take an interest in the world around them.

Given the choice between money and love, Christopher would choose love as he has never had a relationship. He really likes the idea of being in love and ‘building something special with the right man’.

He is single and has never been in a proper relationship. He that his confidence evaporates when it comes to relationships, and that he can be ‘rather neurotic about dating’. He isn’t looking for love in the house but ‘wouldn’t turn it down if it came along’.

Christopher classes himself as religious and was brought up as a Protestant. He doesn’t necessarily ‘believe in scripture but I do pray’. He thinks his best personality traits are being spontaneous and loyal, and his worst traits are being ‘melodramatic and getting overexcited’.

He spends a lot of his weekends working – but does tend to go out every Saturday night for a heavy night: ‘I wake up in need of a wheelchair and a bacon sandwich, wishing I was dead’. His usual night out begins with drinks at his flat, then on to some bars in either Clapham or Shoreditch.

In the house, Christopher would get on best with ‘eccentric, uninhibited people’. He would struggle to get on with ‘egotistical people and people who judge you’ – even though he admits he can be guilty of this himself.

As a housemate, Christopher says he ‘won’t hold back and wants to let loose and have no regrets’, and he reckons he’ll find it hard and having to ‘endure 24 hours of social interaction’ and not being able to ‘pop out for a coffee’.

Maidin mhaith (my granny was Irish), all you said is spot on, the Irish have produced a young man who is a credit to his country.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35yGmITd7LA So Christopher chooses to evict Chris who has been the only person to be his friend from the beginning.

Why? Maybe he thought Chris was a threat to him winning. What a disgusting backstabber. I honestly never expected that from him.

It may be a twist with Chris joining Helen but Christopher DID NOT know that. I’m genuinely shocked.

I don’t see how Christopher could have known without Ash knowing as well, and Ash isn’t a good enough actor to contain anything like that.
This really does smell of something though……..just not entirely sure what.

Whoops , I’d rather wait for the full version of events to play out before jumping to conclusions, he may have a reasonable explanation as to why he made that decision,
If not,…….then he may have shot himself in the foot!
I.v been campaigning for him! ….

I agree Open it. It will be good to wait for the full version of events as Christopher is in no way a ‘disgusting backstabber’ tut tut John Kane.
However, one only has to look at the numbers and names.
Helen had already been ‘evicted’ Christopher and Ash were the power housemates, this left Ashleigh, Pav and Chris.
They are not going to evict Ashleigh even if they wanted to, as that would look very, very bad on them. In saying that, she deserved her place in the final way more than Chris and they knew that.
They were impressed by Pav’s answers in the psychiatry task, which we have yet to see, so they were reluctant to evict him. On face value a very fair decision as maybe another housemate may well have chosen to evict him on the nonsensical basis that HM’s have often cited, that he doesn’t deserve to win because he came in so late.
This left Chris. We don’t know how he performed in the psychiatry test but what Christopher and Ash (and the viewers) could identify of late is that he has just moped around, rolling and smoking his ciggies, mumbling under his breath about things, refusing to take part in the task and generally looking very uncomfortable in his surroundings, as confirmed by Ashleigh in her parting toast to him.
So, this was the only fair, logical and reasonable eviction the power housemates could make and if they had said Pav, that would have made their choice unfair, illogical and unreasonable.
So bravo to Christopher (and Ash) again for making a very intelligent decision based on facts rather than emotion.
    Christopher for the win

Hi Maria !! If it was me in that room deciding who i had to evict and had that massive opportunity i would of evicted Ashleigh. Helen got evicted ( not really ) but they dont know that. So they should of said okay Bye Ashleigh.. If for a second they thought that she is the biggest competition why not boot her out? That leaves room for the two of them and Christopher to actually win the whole game. I would never have kept her around to muddle up my chances of winning. BB is actually giving you the opportunity to get rid of her.. Why pick quiet Chris

In my honest opinion i think BB told them what to do and its all fixed because how can they actually believe all of a sudden the public has voted and out through the diary room. No crowd, no fanfare nothing..I would hope they all arent that stupid

    Hi Maria, how you doing?
I’m with you. A massive opportunity to evict Ashleigh. BUT… and here is the big BUT. Neither Christopher nor Ash are game players so they are not looking at her being the biggest competition. If they had decided on her then it would be the big Ah ha moment where everyone would have said,’see, they have been massive game players all along’
As someone said in a previous post, I don’t think Christopher would know what a game plan is if it hit him in the face’! Bless him.
They approached this task in what they considered a fair, equitable and intelligent manner which has rather summed up Christopher’s approach to many things during his time in the house. Remember, Ash was very much under the influence of Helen so I’m not sure we know his character.

Would they know that the evictions would really happen. Without seeing the VT’s, I am not sure if they were just asked that if it were up to them, who would they evict, not realising that it could become a reality.
It was only later that the ‘eviction’ happened through the diary room. And remember, this is how Marlon left also, but with him in underwear 😀

Hmm – not sure about Christopher’s reasons at all. To base his decision on the answer to one question – as opposed to the weeks he has spent with his ‘Mate’ Chris in the house, makes me wonder. Second time they have done this too – always with the prefix ” oh Chris won’t mind/wants to go” …. how do they know this?
Like Pav, and wish he had been there from day one, but in this instance I think Christopher made a bad decision which could come back to bite him.

I dont get it either.. Its like Ash not being a friend to Helen and getting rid of the one person he knows hurt her in that house the most.. And Christopher getting rid of Chris and not getting rid of Pav who they said was on helens team.. The two of them didnt show much friendship to their long time buddys in the house.. im so confused to their actions.

Im just so confused on why each of them chose one of their best mates and not pav or ashleigh their biggest threat in the whole game in the last week running.

Im wondering if Ash is thinking okay helen is gone so now is my opportunity to cling to the girl who is going to win and will be all snuggly with her this week.. He will bounce from helen to her just watch

    @sammyvan14
The way HM’s know that Chris wont mind/wants go, is that Chris has spent the last few weeks, mooching around the house, saying to all and sundry that ‘he doesn’t mind and wants to go
    :conf:
He has been a real misery during the last week and was very immature in dismissing all the tasks they had to do as part of their interview process. That was pathetic to watch from a grown man and that made it very clear that he had lost interest.
On that alone, it was very decent of Christopher to put his mate out of his angst.
If I remember rightly, one of the last things the HM’s had to do in that last task where they declared the 1st, second and third winners, the last part was to nominate a housemate for eviction. At that point, Christopher nominated Chris, giving the reason that Chris showed very clearly that he did not want to be there!! Very honest.
Even his best, best friend in the house, when raising the toast for her recently ‘evicted’ friend, said ‘A big well done Chris, he wasn’t exactly in a comfortable environment this whole way through’

Well done Maria you nailed it, everything you said in your original post was spot on, you have an amazing perception of what’s going on in that house it’s truly astounding, not only was it beautifully written, it was correct and accurate,
It’s unfair that Christopher was taking all the heat, people need to remember it was a joint decision with Ash, but he’s taken it like a man, a gentleman, and a scholar,
I wish I had your hindsight, are you Sherlock Holmes or something!!
My stance on Christopher haven’t changed, he’s a worthy winner
Thank you for your post

    Christopher for the win 😀

Ahhhh Open it, thank you so much for your kind compliments. I truly appreciate that.

No I am not Sherlock Holmes  All I have done is tried to be logical and fair in my comments and write my views on what I have seen.
I agree with your comments on Christopher and I also think anyone would be lucky to have him as a friend.
Like you, I believe he is definitely a worthy winner.
    Christopher for the win 😀

@maria “anyone would be lucky to have him as a friend” Er…yeah, until he evicts you, even though you’ve stood by him all series long.

    What a truly fantastic friend.

He’s shown himself up for the kind of person he really is and his numbers in all the polls have been dropping steadily since.

He had a pretty decent chance to win but he has blown it by being a two faced backstabber and selling his best pal down the river.

    What a scumbag.

Oh John Kane, you are being very harsh. Bad day at the office 😉
Watch the VT again and you will see what a dilemma it was and the valid reasons that Christopher (and Ash) gave.
Now I must ask you a question.
I know you are supporting Ashleigh and I respect that. However, have you forgotten that Ashleigh nominated Christopher a couple of weeks back. Her so called good friend. So do I take it that the same sentiments that you are applying to Christopher will also apply to Ashleigh. After all, fairs fair and Ashleigh was not put in the very tricky position when she nominated Christopher, unlike the terrible dilemma Christopher and Ash had.
Then I’m sure you wont mind me calling Ashleigh a scumbag and a two faced backstabber who sold one of her best pals down the river.
    Doesn’t sound nice does it.

    @John Kane
I would also add that after Ashleigh had the argument with her so called best friend Christopher, she said she would like to smash his head against a mirror. Have you heard Christopher ever using this kind of threatening language.
As a supporter of Ashleigh, does this mean you are condoning this kind of threatening behaviour.
Is this the type of behaviour that should be rewarded with £100,000. BB and viewers have a moral responsibility to ensure that the correct messsage is sent to young people, that threatening behaviour like this will not be rewarded.

Yup, anyone would be lucky to have Christopher as a friend.

  22. John Kane says:

@maria If you look back across my posts you will see that, by and large, I have been a big supporter of Christophers.

Ashleigh is my preferred winner, but I have said multiple times that, whilst I don’t buy all of his actions (the well timed argument in defence of Chris and the “tears” in the Diary Room), I do think Christopher has proven himself a very decent human being and that he would be a worthy winner.

That was before his actions the other night.

With that said I will address the points you have raised for me:

There is a difference between the relationship Ashleigh has with Christopher and the relationship Chris has with Christopher.

When ashleigh said that about Christopher re: the mirror it was tongue in cheek…a throwaway comment and not one single person in the house or viewers watching though that it was a serious comment, or a genuine threat.

I heard Christopher say, on multiple occasions, that he would love to throttle Mark. I did not for one second imagine that he was being serious and that Marks life was in danger.

You know that as well as I do.

What detractors of Ashleigh have done is pick up on one tiny spat that she had with Christopher, blown it out of all proportion, and run a mile with it.

Also, nominating someone for eviction, knowing that they will be up against others and still have a chance of surviving is different to being told you have the power to evict someone immediately…and then choosing the person that you are closest too in the house to go.

    That move is indefensible.

So no Maria, I no longer believe that anyone would be lucky to have Christopher as a friend.

    @John Kane

I agree with you John, they always pick on Chris to evict, they say he won’t mind, I still think they
know he’s a nice guy and they won’t get any abuse from him so they take the easy option, which is a bit of a cop out. They should have picked Pav as he has only been there a few weeks and hasn’t been through the whole experience with them and is lucky even to be in the final as I haven’t seen much from him to think he deserves a place there.

Still think it’s all turned into a bit of a pantomime to be honest, with Helen as the Bad Fairy, Ashleigh as the White Witch and the others as the trolls and a really bad writer doing the script!

I agree Misty, that the script is rubbish  Helen did her best to look shocked about her fake eviction in the diary room………. but I was left unconvinced. That girl knew what was going on.
I think initially, Christopher wanted to FAKE evict Pav, until Ash persuaded him to evict Chris.
It hasn’t changed my opinion of Christopher at all! I still want him to win. 😉
