Sophie is feisty and cockney born and bred in the East End of London. She has gypsy roots and was brought up around the gypsy community and describes her granddad as a “gypsy gangster”. She classes herself as a bit of a tomboy and “not a bimbo” as she follows football and kickboxing.
Although she is a dental nurse she hates working and is a self-confessed, spoilt daddy’s girl. She is close to her mum too – the family are all very loud and “in each other’s faces”. Her dad owns a scrap yard which is a family business where her granddad, uncle and cousins all work. When she was younger she would go ‘scrapping’ with her dad, which involved picking up and finding pieces of scrap and metal.
Sophie is a black belt in karate but she doesn’t train anymore because she got bored of it. She says this is typical of her as she often gets bored of things easily and moves on to the next thing. She says that her best trait is that she is funny and is happy to take the “p*ss out of herself”. She doesn’t take life to seriously; “I have webbed feet and I’m always joking about them. You have to laugh at yourself”! Her friends would describe has as a ‘pusher’ because she is always winding them up and pushing them to do things that they don’t want to do. She hates bitchy people but says “I’ll get on with anyone who gets on with me!”
Sophie admits that her worst trait is that she can have a temper. “Sometimes I can be a bit lary. I don’t mean to be but I don’t like it when people take the p*ss out of me”. Sophie doesn’t consider herself to be religious although she was christened. “My family are really religious but I don’t do any of that bible-bashing stuff”.
Sophie hates being a dental nurse; “I can’t stand seeing the same old teeth every day. I hate it”. Sophie aims to have a change of career after Big Brother.

This girl is sooooo false, unbelievable. Pooball, Brooke isn’t living in the past, she’s doing a comparison with someone very similar to this contestant on Big Brother. No harm in that is there? Will is entitled to express his opinions anyway, he could be saying yawn because he thinks Sophie sounds like a bore, let people express their thoughts, that’s what this chat forum is supposed to be for.
A sweet girl and not attention seeking constantly like Sallie and Gina. If one of them go others may get a chance to be heard. It’s been the Sallie and Gina show so far.

Hi Tara good to see you posting. I am enjoying this series and the mole ! My favourite two are Jackie and Dan for now.I am also so pleased there is considerably less foul language , apart from Sallie, Wolfie and Micheal in his role. People with proper vocabulary and respect for others are worth listening to IMO. Not many I dislike for now !! I dont think there has been a series where I have liked most contestants. Sallie and Gina are by a big margin my least faves.Both very spoiled girls, not there fault but the real world will not tolerate such childishness and parents have a lot to answer for. Gina seems to have climbed down from her VERY high horse and is at least now trying to integrate.There may be a nice person under all of that arrogance. Parasitic lifestyles are so destructive, rich or poor. I think being up for eviction so quickly( deservedly) has brought her down to earth with a bang, which I would think rarely happens for her. She may get something positive from the experience and mature.Sallie oh dear an awful personality so far unless this is all bluster. She may calm down. What a pity these two seem to have never learned real values in life. We can but hope. Sophie seems very sweet , but we have had the attention seeking infants dominating everything so far. The men are mainly slipping under the radar for now. I wish the twins would stop whining constantly about food.They seem to contribute little else to the show at the moment. This could be a golden opportunity for them to become more healthy and learn something about good nutrition from the better educated people, food wise I mean.What about you????@tara
@irene yes I’m enjoying this one, like urself not really disliking many early days!! Gina not keen on,sallie she says it how it is a pain that one, apart from that this serious should be intresting! I’m expecting a baby:) I’m 15weeks my partner and me are over the moon!! Nice speaking 2 u after so long! Ignore trouble maker some people irene have no life u know! Anyway just having a nap I’ll speak 2 u later take~care 4 now

Hi Tara enjoyed last nights show but felt terrible for Wolfie. What a vile and cruel label to put on anyone and it should not have one of the choices .Poor girl !!!!BB should be ashamed.

But Sophie however, seemed very nice on the VT so I voted for her for the week one popularity poll. This week however, I have had to go with Gina. Two reasons, she is funny and the others have had about 5 minutes of air time each.
Like her, she seems genuine. But she won’t win the series by flying under the radar as much as she is doing…
Is it me or are loads of the comments gone? This is the same on the other housemates comments.
