Liverpudlian Dexter’s jobs have included male escort, paparazzo, strip club manager, magician and celeb PR “Jack of all trades, a social chameleon and master of only a few”. He claims he was London’s highest paid male escort. One of the most expensive things he’s bought is a night with a Russian supermodel.
Dexter is single but says his love life is “complicated”. He has a few girls that he sees on a monthly basis but says he is too busy for a relationship. For this reason, he is usually the one to end relationships. He says working is the greatest love of his life.
He says he doesn’t get time for hobbies because he is always working; chasing stories and making money.
Dexter has open-minded views on sex and culture. He can get very outspoken during debates and dislikes “stupid people”.

I don’t dislike him, but I wouldn’t miss him if he was evicted either. He somehow dampens the mood of the house. Maybe he’s with the wrong set of people…?

He is ok but cut the sleaze now. very off-putting and it probably isn’t true anyhow.He is playing a dangerous game inviting character critique from the others. The perfect amongst them will be lining up to tell him every flaw from their god like perspective.. LOL Game Plan ?? weird if it is.

Even though Dexter’s hated I find him entertaining and want him to stay even though he is a Sssss…Snake, it makes the show intresting. If you took Dexter or Dan out the show would be dead! You just had to take Sallie out? Even Sallie said put some fire crackers up your ar*e and lighten the house and vote WOLFY OUT!

I feel sorry for him actually. Sometimes he does definitely do the wrong thing (tennis ball incident) but I think he generally doesn’t know how to interact with people properly.
People learn how to act in social situations from primary socialisation (family) and secondary socialisation (friends & society). This is where we also learn the social norms and values and what is deemed fit speak about in conversations. He’s lived a rich and extravagant lifestyle where he pays for his woman and company. Therefore if he acts strange or inappropriate nothing is said. Therefore he goes along thinking he’s doing nothing wrong. I think this could be the reason why he is having trouble in the house and making friends. He has know idea how to act or make friends.
Also, I can images him actually being quite shy, he doesn’t vocalise his opinions and when he is under attack from housemates he says nothing. If people were speaking like that to me I would no sit there and take it! I think this cocky persona is a front as he thinks it looks good. He’s a bit of a playboy and has loads of ladies and is rich. But that image is just of a typical arsehole man!
I’m just making these assumptions on what I have seen in the house and what I personally think. He might be completely different, I’ve never head of him before!
He’s having trouble in the house cos he’s from another culture. He is taking a lot of shit from the other housemates being narrow-minded, much more than Gina! He doesn’t voice his opinions, he thinks his opinions and then works out a game to follow up. And the playboy image he’s trying to portray is him actually trying to be a British boy. Simple as.. :happy: I’m finding it interesting to watch him.
Keep Dexterhe is interesting to watch. He is a very strong young man – he copes very well with all the hostility from hm. I wonder how many people could cope with it – I couldn’t. Look what happened to Woolfie at the forst sign of controversy.
And I totally disagree with that, that’s not a “British” image. I’m not sure what part if Britain your from but a typical British stereotype is that we drink tea enjoy biscuits and speak with a posh accident. Not sleeze with numerious women, that Hugh hephner and he is American. Also he is from Greek and Singaporean origion not chineese.
But you are entitled to your own enterpretations and opinions. :happy:
I hope he stays in as it will cause shit with the other housemates. I’m hoping they will start to become paranoid and wonder if the public love him and if they are being shown in a bad light. They are all in there to win (except Gina and Dexter) and received the cash prize or boost their job prospects.
