bbspy Big Brother 2013 Tweetstakes

How it works

Each player in the bbspy Tweetstakes will represent a Big Brother housemate for the duration of their stay in the house. If an entrant’s housemate is evicted from BB they will be evicted from the Tweetstakes – and if their housemate wins, they will win!

Launch housemates

We’ll ask a quiz question on our Twitter page (@bbspy), and the first fourteen people to respond correctly will become Tweetstakes players and will be randomly assigned a number.

On launch night, housemates will be allocated to players in the order they’re revealed – e.g. player 1 gets the first housemate to enter, player 2 gets the second, and so on. Only one player will represent each housemate, even if that housemate consists of multiple people (e.g. Jedward CBB8, Karissa and Kristina CBB9).

Should any players be left without a housemate on launch night (e.g. if only twelve housemates enter, players 13 and 14 are left out), they will not enter the Tweetstakes at launch, but these players will be the first to be assigned any latecomers should there be any.

The People’s Puppet

A twist to this series has seen professional actor Michael Dylan enter the house as ‘The People’s Puppet’, a mole carrying out tasks set by viewers. As presenter Emma Willis stated during the launch show that he does not have housemate status, Michael will not be counted in the Tweetstakes. Should he gain housemate status later in the series, this situation may change.

Latecomers & Twists

If new housemates are sent in to the house later in the series, there might be opportunities for new entrants to join the Tweetstakes. And as we all know, Big Brother does like to throw a twist in now and again – these will be reflected with a twist or two in our Tweetstakes. bbspy reserves the right to change the rules at any time!
