Voting lines have opened for the viewing public to award their favorite HouseGuest this year a special $25,000 prize and the title of “America’s Favorite HouseGuest”.
All HouseGuests except for Dick Donato, who walked on Day 6, are eligible to win this prize including the potential winner and runner-up of the season. Prior to Big Brother 11 the vote was restricted to only Jury Members before Big Brother changed the rules and opened the public vote to all Housemates.
Viewers in both Canada and the United States can visit the official website on CBS.com to cast their vote for free. Viewers in the United States can also vote via text (SMS) messaging. Viewers can vote up to ten times in either method. So if you wanted to you have a total of twenty votes (10 online, 10 text messages).
To vote via text message viewers should text the number representing their favorite Housemate to 81818. Voting via this method will cost $1.00 per text message vote plus any standard cost per the customer’s wireless plan.
