Jordan Lloyd became the 11th Housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother House on Thursday evening.
Lloyd previously won the eleventh season of the program with a 5-2 vote. Due to the expulsion of a Housemate that was meant to be on the Jury of Seven that year a public vote was held. Lloyd was popular with the viewing public placing in the 90% range to win Big Brother 11.
She is one of three winners in the history of American Big Brother to have been voted upon by the viewing public. The winner of the first season was chosen solely upon public voting while former Big Brother 13 Housemate Dick Donato was chosen by the viewing public to win a jury vote in Big Brother 8 due to the America’s Player twist that year.
The 24-year old receptionist from Matthews, North Carolina was nominated by Adam Poch alongside Porsche Briggs in an attempt to evict Porsche from the House. Briggs won the final Power of Veto and chose to veto her nomination live on Thursday. Lloyd’s ally Rachel Reilly was then chosen to replace Briggs by default. Porsche then made the decision live to evict Jordan after admitting that she did not know muck about her and that she respected Reilly’s gameplay throughout the summer.
After her eviction Lloyd was interviewed by Julie Chen about her time in the House. She told Chen while she was expecting to leave tonight she wished she could stay in the House longer.
“I’m a little disappointed. I wish I would have done a little bit better,” she explained.
“I’ve never talked to Porsche ever. I know nothing about that girl so she’s like a poker face to me. I knew whenever she won that veto that I was going to go home. She and Rachel were a lot closer.”
Chen then asked why she was so forgiving of Adam for nominating her for eviction she said: “He had to put up someone. He wasn’t going to put up me and Rachel together because we were all working together. He said that he wanted me to fight and win that veto.”
Lloyd also commented about her alliance with Reilly she stated: “She won everything. She’s the best competitor! Me and Rachel balanced each other out because we all know she can’t keep her mouth shut. I’m good at the social game… and then she’s a great competitor.
“I just would have felt bad if she left because I didn’t win anything when she got us the duos. I would have felt like I was benefiting from her work, not my own.”
Lloyd was then shown goodbye messages from the remaining Housemates Briggs explained to her that it was beneficial to evict to her to evict Lloyd for a shot in the final two and to potentially win this year. Poch thanked Lloyd and her boyfriend Jeff for showing him that the game can be played honestly. Reiily rounded out the messages and was visibly upset at Lloyd’s potential departure noting that she made a friend for life inside the House.
Shortly after the final three Housemates began the week long battle to become the final Head of Household. The final Head of Household is guaranteed a spot in the final two and has the power to cast the sole eviction vote on finale night effectively choosing who would set beside him/her in the final two.
Programming Note: There is no Sunday episode of Big Brother because Sunday falls on September 11th. CBS will be airing a special to honor those who lost their lives during this tragic event. Instead only the live finale will air on Wednesday, September 14, 2011at 9:30 p.m. (live ET/delayed PT).

The American version was one of eight countries running Big Brother at the time. For the first time in the history of the program worldwide, Big Brother only informed Housemates in the American and Netherlands Houses about the events. Argentina, Denmark, Greece, Poland, Portugal and South Africa were also running Big Brother at the time but decided not to inform their Housemates of the events.
Monica, a Housemate in Big Brother 2, had a cousin who worked in the World Trade Centers that went to work on September 11, 2001.
Big Brother informed her separately of the tragic events and told her that her cousin was missing after the attacks. Monica chose to stay in the House and ultimately placed third that year. After Big Brother ended it was revealed that Monica’s cousin, who she considers a sister, was not found.
