The brand new fairground-themed Diary Room for Celebrity Big Brother has been unveiled by Channel 4 today.
A waltzer car-style Diary Room chair, featuring ‘retro red’ seat covers, takes centre stage in the room. It can seat two housemates comfortably, and even comes complete with a safety bar.
It sits among a backdrop of lights and mirrors, and a circus-style mural.
Although Big Brother is unlikely to be heard roaring “scream if you want to go faster,” the fairground themed seat could indicate that there is an exhilarating ride ahead for the new celebrity housemates.
A show spokesperson said: “The Diary Room chair has taken on many guises over the different series but this one is the most spectacular yet. It is really in keeping with the show’s feel that nothing is what it seems.”

Meanwhile, a show producer has revealed that there are ‘many hidden elements’ to the new house which will be revealed throughout the series.
The new celebrity housemates will move in during tonight’s launch show – but they won’t have long to introduce themselves, as Big Brother will help them to break the ice and encourage them to get up close and personal early on.
