Reservoir Dogs actor Michael Madsen has agreed a deal to join the new series of Celebrity Big Brother, according to The Daily Star.

The Hollywood figure, whose other credits include Free Willy and Kill Bill, is said to have sought advice on how to survive the show from friends Stephen Baldwin and Vinnie Jones, who were both housemates in the seventh series.

A source said: “Michael is going to be the Hollywood big gun of the house. He’s quite a formidable character.”

Meanwhile, the paper says that a mysterious live show will take place next Friday, one day after the launch. A string of famous guests are also expected to visit the house for tasks and challenges, as Mohamed Al-Fayed and Marco Pierre White did in the last run in August.
