Celeb BB poster advertising campaign launched

Channel 5 has unveiled a poster advertising campaign for Celebrity Big Brother 2012, which is running on buses and in London Tube stations.
Similarly to the televison trailers, the ads feature a stone version of the eye logo, alongside the tagline ‘Who will be chosen?’ in gold block lettering.
Fortunately, the new posters feature the correct launch date, Thursday January 5th at 9.00pm. An embarrassing blunder earlier this year saw billboards promote the Celebrity Big Brother 2011 launch on Wednesday 17th August, when it in fact began a day later.

WOW looks great, i prefer the stone eye look and the thundering clouds they have gone for like a roman/gladiator theme….
channel 5 to be fair do such a great job with advertising, you cant fault them with that, i just dont think they will get the 5million launch as expected last year

I wouldn’t write Big Brother off just yet – Channel 5′s ad revenue is up a whopping 28% this year (£280m to £350m)

A significant amount of that will be down to Big Brother. The ratings may not be *huge* but it pulls in a 16-34 audience which advertisers love, and which Channel 5 has previously been lacking in.
It’s also a lucrative opportunity for product placement – lets not forget Paramount Pictures hosted a world premiere on Big Brother (shame it involved so much outside world contact…)

They also have them on the sides of buses in London, they simply say
‘CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER 2012 – January 5th – Channel 5′ with the logo as the background, i didn’t have time get my phone out to take a photo when i saw it today :(
Yeah buses all over the UK have them now, quite an impressive campaign from Channel 5 to be fair, the TV ads don’t look cheap either… let’s hope they back up their “real celebrities” line from the ad with actual celebs [or at least a couple] and if they do, they could win a lot of people over.

At first I thought Iam sure this is Channel 4 so I get my remote to see what Channel am on and its Channel 4 and I felt confused as I never ever thought Channel 4 would show Celebrity Big Brother advert for Channel 5 lol
hahaha why would channel 4 do an advert for big bro when they av only just got rid of it. Big brother isnt as good as it was 5 years ago an its a shame we never see celebs that we are all actually interested in

Big Brother isnt like it use to be now its moved to Channel 5 it was way better on Channel 4 and miss Big Brother being on Channel 4 and also the Live Feed!
I do hope one day Big Brother will be on Channel 4 again where it started and where it belongs
