Celeb BB to launch January 5th, first adverts air

Channel 5 has begun airing the first Celebrity Big Brother 2012 teaser adverts, which confirm the new series will launch on Thursday January 5th.
Set in darkened stormy landscapes, the clips feature the show’s eye logo, human silhouettes and messages in a runic-style lanuage engraved on to what narrator Marcus Bentley calls ‘obelisks’, illuminated in pink.
The launch date ’05.01.12′ then appears in gold block lettering.
The adverts appear to follow an ‘end of the world’ theme. Some fans speculate they’re a sign that Channel 5 is preparing to axe the show, while others suggest they could represent a tougher Big Brother.
A full-length advert starring ex-housemates is expected to premiere next week.

No way tight arse channel 5 will have live feed,your in dreamland if you think they will,Channel 4 atleast made some effort and had live feed through the night

In Channel 5′s defence, SuperCasino/Teleshopping is something they can’t get rid of just like that. They signed multi-year contracts for both before Channel 4 even axed Big Brother.
But that’s no reason for them not to have a 24hr feed online…

wait, so we aren’t getting a new eye? :( that one looks the same as BB12!
Also! anyone thought of raising the dead? maybe old celebrity housemates will enter much like all stars, on the first ad you see the eye light up on each headstone which could relate to the “awakening” of past housemates, just a thought! :D.

why are they not changing the eye? Is the house going to be the same to?

Marcus Bentley said they had completely gutted out the house for this series.
I was under the assumtion that that eye is the ‘generic’ eye used for promos – the actual eye that would change is the pink cloudy one used in the starting.
That said, perhaps they’re waiting to change the eye until the normal series?
Has anyone found out yet what the code means in the advert?

I think if they have Live Feed in the summer for BB they will probably see the ratings go up and might renew the contract to keep BB and CBB
