Pineapple Dance Studios star Andrew Stone has become the first housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother 2012 house.

In a twist to the usual format to tie in with the fairytale task, Andrew left the house via the garden in a pumpkin-shaped carriage, which eventually arrived among the crowd before he got out and posed for the press.

Referring to the atypical exit and his costume, Andrew told host Brian Dowling: “I went in the Diary Room and I said ‘You aren’t kidding? I’m not gonna be wearing this when I go out and face the public?’ and they said ‘You are’ and I thought ‘I am!’ So I went and I got all my stuff together!”

The 39-year-old was soon quizzed about his divisive behaviour. “I’m a bit like Marmite TV. I know you either get me or you don’t,” he said. “I thought I’d either go early or I’d make it all the way to the end.

“But I did think I’d get nominated soon, I’m a bit kaleidoscopic as a person. One saving grace is there was people coming to me in the week saying ‘I wish we could change our nominations’.”

After watching back the seven nominations he received, he continued: “By the time I came out we were all really cool. I don’t take on board anything they said there because I know exactly how they all feel about me.

“I was a little bit nervous in the first two days, I wasn’t feeling 100% comfortable, I like my open space, my phone had been taken away from me, I was very much enclosed, I was quite hyper, and then it was about two days and I settled down, but by that point it was too late, the nominations were made.

“I could have come across exactly the same with a different team of people and I could have not been coming out first, so it’s all about who’s in the house as well.”

Andrew summed up his experience by saying: “I mean, it was the most amazing experience of my life, I gotta say, and I’ll remember it for the rest of the time I’m here, I really will.”

After his interiew, a live twist saw survivor Georgia nominate two housemates to face eviction on Friday.
