Security has been increased for Georgia Salpa after she was sent threatening texts ahead of last week’s Celebrity Big Brother launch, it is claimed.

According to The Mirror, show producers have taken the precaution of hiring extra bodyguards to protect the Irish model, who is facing the first eviction of the series tonight alongside Andrew Stone.

One message on Salpa’s phone apparently reads: “I’ll be waiting for you when you get off the show. See you in Ireland. One way or the other you will be sleeping with me. I’ve been watching you for a long time.”

Of her reaction to the texts, a source explained: “She was really freaked out by the messages but whenever she rang back nobody answered. It seems they have bought a sim card and are untraceable.

“She tried to put it behind her because she literally had a couple of hours to go before she was going live on the show. Bosses aren’t taking any chances and will be helping to keep an eye on her when she comes out.”
