McFly vocalist and guitarist Danny Jones is the latest star rumoured to be taking part in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.
OK! Magazine names him as one of the faces ‘set to’ enter the house, alongside Frankie Cocozza, Kirk Norcross, Natalie Cassidy, Nicola McLean, Natasha Giggs, Denise Welch, Michael Madsen, Andrew Stone and Lauren Harries.
Completing OK’s list are Boy George – who has already denied he’s involved – and Lindsay Lohan, who would require special permission to take part as she’s currently completing community service.
If he does go in, Danny will no doubt be hoping to replicate the success of his bandmates Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter, who won the most recent series of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing and ITV1′s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here respectively.
The twelve housemates’ identities will be confirmed during the launch show, tomorrow at 9pm on C5.
It would make sense for him given how well the other members of his group did on their respective shows.
Bit of an uninspired choice but I can see the logic if he does go in.
Danny also took part in Popstar to Operastar didn’t he?

Why would he undo all the good work Harry and Dougie have done and risk McFly’s new found reputation by lowering himself to Celeb BB.
