Blue member Lee Ryan has reportedly been axed from Celebrity Big Brother 2012 over wage demands, after Wiley decided to pull out.

The ‘Wearing My Rolex’ rapper – approached after Tinchy Stryder turned down a £1million offer – was expected to enter the show’s house tomorrow, but has since mysteriously ‘ended discussions’ with bosses, The Sun claims.

Ryan then accepted a £175,000 offer to take Wiley’s place, but annoyed producers pulled the plug on his deal when he later asked for more money. Now, So Solid Crew MC Romeo – who featured on the band’s 2001 number one hit ’21 Seconds’ – has apparently been lined up as a last minute replacement.

A ‘show source’ told the tabloid: “Lee was all set to go but then he wanted more than £175,000.

“There was already a pretty high figure for him so the decision was made to call it a day with him and find someone cheaper. There’s no doubt he’d have been good value but we can’t be held to ransom like that.”

The identities of the new housemates will be confirmed during the launch show, tomorrow at 9pm on C5.
